Runs small, and narrow. If you're like me (5'-6", 185lbs, long legs) the highback might dig right on the sweet spot of the gastroc. I have a burton mint speedlace and when compared the burtons are about 1 inch higher. The foam in these also cushions but steals precious space, so if you have wider calves it is not good. Size 10 is more like a size 8.5 with thick socks or 9 with regular socks.

I was a bit worried reading some of the reviews that this model ran too small (like, there's a few on here saying to order a full 1.5 size up), but I followed the guidance on the Thirty Two website and ordered my actual shoe size (10). Fresh out of the box, my big toe definitely presses the edge... but after throwing on some chunky socks and walking around the apartment all afternoon, they're a perfect fit. Just leave them on for more than a second, do some toe-heel rocking, and you'll be solid. Order your normal shoe size.This is my first time using BOA, so I'm not going to knock a star off, but these are clearly cost-effective shoes and a simple BOA system. I would recommend these still to anyone interested/exploring it, but I think I would either (1) stick with laces to get better tension/control over the top of my foot or (2) invest in a nicer boot with a dual BOA system.

These snowboard boots are really easy to get on and off; they run a tiny bit small I think. I ordered a 9.5 and wear an 8.5-9 in regular shoes; my big toe is hitting the front of the boot. But, aside from that, they are comfortable for snowboard bootsz

These are great boots but they run very small. My daughter wears a size 8 in everything and had to go to a 10 and they were still a bit snug
