通勤・トレーニング用バイクに初代REDを使用しています。壊れないですし、文句ひとつありません。なのでかれこれ15年ほど使っています。ですが、その間にワイヤー交換やブラケットカバーなど消耗品の交換は必要になります。なお本製品など古いパーツ用消耗品はAmazonなどの通販サイトで購入することをお勧めします。先日某Yのつく青い看板の販売店にサードパーティ製でも良いので取り寄せて欲しいと聞きに行ったら、まだそんなポンコツ使っているの？と言いたげな感じに鼻で笑われたので、無言で帰りました。多分そんなユーザーは迷惑客とされてしまいますので、ご注意を。

After a bit of struggle, as expected with new brake hoods, these ended up fitting perfectly on to my SRAM S500 levers - nice and snug with everything lined up. The trick is to make sure all the tabs on the hood tuck in properly into the notches on the lever in sequence (you'll understand if you fiddle around with them before installing).My original hoods took a beating with all the riding I have done, so this product help me refresh my bike while saving me from investing in a whole new lever set.Also, kudos to the seller for responding to my shipping inquiry in a very timely manner with the answer I was looking for. I was impressed by that.I am satisfied with the product and the shopping experience.

Juego original de escaladores. Yo los he usado para sustituir unos blancos. Son muy fáciles de cambiar. Solo hace falta un poco de maña.

After a year and a half of riding SRAM Red shifters with factory hood covers they gave out after some crashes which resulted in tears. I replaced them with Hudz covers which were thinner and more flexible - they didn't fit well and would sometimes move. I purchased these SRAM OEM covers and found them to be just like the originals: they fit well and don't move; the slightly heavier composition provides better padding for the hands and better texture for the grip - hands don't slip around as much. The SRAM covers were less expensive and of better quality.
