I recently had a full knee replacement. This small device has been fantastic in my rehabilitation. It is small but sturdy and if you have been unfortunate enough to have to undergo any knee procedure then I highly recommend this device to you. It's great value for money too.

I like the quality and ease of assembly. I have only recently bought this pedal exerciser and at the moment I am finding the operation difficult but I’m getting used to it and I will persevere, it does move away from me as I use it and I am constantly re-positioning it. I hope to get over most of the difficulties as I am unable to use a full size exercise cycle, I also find walking difficult and I need to find some way to exercise, I hope this works for me

This is what my husband needed when not able to go outside for a walk or go on the treadmill. Unfortunately the tension went almost as soon as used. So although a great devise only great if the tension would hold

I am a woman in my late forties recovering from a bad tib/fib fracture. I got this to ease back into exercise and it's fine so far. As others have noted, you can increase the tension a bit, but you aren't going to get a serious workout like you would on a standard exercise bike. Which is fine with me, I can't handle a heavy duty workout yet. My sister (serious runner) also had a leg injury and used something like this to stay in shape until she could do something more strenuous.Easy to assemble - just a few screws. No big deal. It's lighter than I thought it would be, which is good if you are older or dealing with an injury because you can't be hauling heavy stuff around. Also I don't want it permanently in the middle of my living room so it's easy to stow or to take with me on a car trip.Down side is, because it's not that heavy, it does "migrate" or slip along a bit as you use it, so you have to stop now and then and line it back up, but using it on a carpet seems to minimize this. Also I don't care about the readout/display at all so I can't comment on whether that's effective or user friendly. I just do it til I'm tired and sweaty.
