Thunderbolt 4に対応したこのドッキングステーションは、Macで使う際にも非常に安定した速度と利便性を発揮してくれます。接続するだけで複数のポートが一気に使えるようになるので、日々の作業効率がかなり上がりました。USB-CやHDMI、DisplayPort、SDカードスロットなど豊富なポートがそろっていて、ケーブルの抜き差しに悩むことが一気に減ります。特に良かったのは、前面にThunderboltポートがあることで、頻繁に抜き差しするケーブルもスムーズに扱える点です。背面にはディスプレイやキーボードといった常時接続の周辺機器をまとめられる設計になっていて、机の上がすっきり整頓できるのも嬉しいポイントでした。4Kデュアルモニター対応や40Gbpsの高速転送も魅力で、大きなファイルのやりとりも待ち時間がほとんどありませんでした。ただ、SDカードやTFカードスロットが背面にあるのは正直少し使いにくく感じました。写真や動画を扱う人は抜き差しの手間を考慮して購入した方が良いかもしれません。給電については最大85Wまで対応していますが、高性能なゲーミングノートやクリエイティブ系のPCにはやや物足りない場合もあります。私の用途ではMacBookの作業用にぴったりで、問題なく使えています。また、据え置き前提のサイズ感なので、持ち運びにはあまり向いていません。ACアダプターがやや大きく重さもあるため、オフィスや自宅に固定して使うのがベストだと思います。全体的に見て、高級感のあるデザインに加えて機能性も十分で、特にMacとの相性を重視する方にはおすすめしたいドッキングステーションです。しっかりと作業環境を整えたい方には満足度の高い選択になると思います。

Parto subito con un consiglio: chi stia valutando l’acquisto di una docking-station per un utilizzo serio, non deve assolutamente lasciarsi scoraggiare dal prezzo “importante” di questo articolo, certamente superiore rispetto ad altri APPARENTEMENTE analoghi, che però in passato mi hanno riservato, nel tempo, alcune delusioni, non solo per prestazioni ma anche per stabilità. In questo caso ci troviamo invece di fronte ad un prodotto realmente professionale, realizzato da un marchio ormai affermato e con una certa reputazione da difendere (non senza alcuni passi falsi compiuti in passato), che oggi non lancia prodotti senza averli accuratamente progettati, realizzati e testati. Orico, infatti, è un’azienda hi-tech con ormai oltre 15 anni di attività, con una produzione focalizzata sullo storage e sulla trasmissione dati e tutti i prodotti di questo brand con cui ho avuto a che fare sia per hobby che per lavoro mi hanno sempre pienamente soddisfatto.Utilizzo quotidianamente al lavoro da oltre un mese questo dock definito “12 in 1”, in congiunzione al mio MacBook Pro 14”: ogni mattina, raggiunta la mia postazione, mi basta collegare al portatile l’unico cavo USB-C proveniente dal dock, per ottenere in un sol colpo:- l’alimentazione del portatile senza dover portare con me l’alimentatore di serie del Mac, dato che l’alimentatore del dock è più che sufficiente per fornire al computer una potenza analoga;- un solido e stabile collegamento del monitor esterno con cavo Display Port ad una risoluzione 3840x2160@60Hz senza dover utilizzare la porta HDMI del portatile- un solido e stabile collegamento alla rete aziendale cablata (Gigabit Ethernet), dato che la connessione WiFi non mi è sempre sufficiente ed il mio Mac non offre direttamente una porta Ethernet- il collegamento di un mouse verticale cablato che utilizzo in via preferenziale rispetto al trackpad del portatile- il collegamento di una coppia di diffusori esterni amplificati di buona qualità- la disponibilità di porte USB, sia “A” che “C”, per collegare occasionalmente memorie di massa esterne (sia HD che SSD) utilizzate per il trasporto di grandi quantità di dati.- la disponibilità di slot SD e micro-SD, quest’ultimo non disponibile direttamente sul portatile.Insomma, considerate le prestazioni assolutamente IMPECCABILI del dispositivo, ritengo che l’aggettivo “professionale” sia pienamente adeguato a questo prodotto, che consiglio senza alcuna riserva.

Cette station d’accueil USB-C se démarque par les vitesses incroyable qu’elle peut atteindre grâce au Thunderbolt 4 qui peut fournir jusqu’a 40Gb/s! Il est d'une qualité irréprochable et la sensation d'un produit haut de gamme s'en dégage indubitablement ! Cette station d’accueil est intégralement en aluminum massif, il sera du plus bel effet sur un bureau au coté d'un mac mini par exemple.Toutes ses promesses de performances sont tenue avec brio, je l’utilise tous les jours depuis prés d'un mois sur mon mac mini M4 est il est excellent ! Tous ses ports sont utilisables en même temps et sans chute de débit grâce au Thunderbolt 4 et surtout il pourra recharger jusqu'à 85W l’appareil qui sera connecté sur le port TB4 grâce à l’alimentation fourni de 6.5A.Mon seul regret est le manque (tout relatif) de ports USB… je trouve que pour une station TB4 quelques ports USB supplémentaire n’aurait pas était de trop tout comme un port TB4 supplémentaire. Aussi on pourrait regretter le fait que le port ethernet ne soit que de 1Gbit/s alors qu’un port 2.5Gbit/s aurait été bienvenue.Les ports présent sur la station sont aux nombres de 10 dont : deux ports Thunderbolt 4, un USB-C 3.2 de 10Gbit/s, un ports USB-A 3.2 de 10Gbit/s, deux ports USB-A 2.0, un port ethernet 1Gbit/s, un port DisplayPort 1.4, un port HDMI 2.0, un port mini-jack et un lecteur de carte SD/Micro SD. Un interrupteur est également présent permettant de mettre la station hors tension.

We connected the Orico Thunderbolt 4 dock to our Mac Studio Ultra with good results, testing most of the features quickly with ethernet, SDXC cards, USB-C SSD and HDMI monitor. We also connected a 10Gbps USB-C equipped NVMe drive successfully.We've used other portable hubs with USB-C configurations at 10Gbps that could not match our computer's Thunderbolt 4 40Gbps potential, but this unit seems to meet that compatibility.With eleven ports, plus a standard tiny headphone jack, it's a challenge to place all the ports in the best position. If the front of the unit is the side with the power switch -- the two 40Gbps Thunderbolt ports, 10Gbps USB-A and USB-C ports -- that leaves the SDXC and SDXC micro (TF) slots, the HDMI and DisplayPort monitor ports, 1 gig ethernet and two low speed USB-A ports on the back of the unit. We decided to turn the unit around to easily access the SDXC slots. An awkward configuration, but perhaps a good compromise.The large power supply is sufficient for all the ports and the processors that drive them, plus enough to pass 85 watts of recharging power on the Thunderbolt output port.Although we don't gain any addition Thunderbolt ports by adding this small hub to our Mac Studio, it offers a tremendous advantage when used with our M2 Mac Book Air with only two Thunderbolt 4 ports, supplying power and connection to the laptop with one cable and adding every conceivable port necessary.
