Die Olympus OM-1 ist eine beeindruckende Kamera. Die spiegellose Systemkamera mit dem Olympus-Schriftzug agiert im Foto-Modus extrem schnell. Auch die sonstige Ausstattung der DSLM ist vom Feinsten: Die effektive Bildstabilisierung, der schnelle Autofokus mit optimierter Objekterkennung und die Videos machen die leichte und robuste OM-1 zur Top-Allrounderin.

E' la macchina che mi ha fatto cambiare sistema, dopo anni in Sony e Canon. Evidenziamo i pro e i contro:- costruzione ottima e resistente ad acqua e polvere- ergonomia PRO- stabilizzazione (probabilmente la migliore)- colori bellissimi, con jpeg già pronti- sensore stacked velocissimo, che si può usare solo in elettronico (quasi sempre)- sistema di lenti pro eccellente. Chi lo ignora o lo disprezza è un principiante o un fissato con sfocato e altissimi iso- a proposito di alti iso: se si espone bene la macchina li regge bene- AF molto efficace, ma da domare: non si usa come una sony, ma come una reflex! AFC con punti o zone- riconoscimento uccelli efficace, ma quello dei visi non tanto come su Canon e Sony- caratteristiche video interessanti, ma non adatte a un uso professionale, visto il bitrate basso, nonostante il 4k 60 senza crop, i 10bit e la stabilizzazione eccellente.- Aggiungo il grande pro del m43: guadagno in profondità di campo e iso bassi (200 iso base). Significa che rispetto al FF ho sempre 2 stop di vantaggio in termini di luce rispetto alla profondità di campo desiderata, più uno di iso base. (100 su FF, 200 su Olympus).Purtroppo nel tempo ha presentato il difetto delle ghiere un po' dure. Eccellente Amazon, che mi ha proposto il reso con rimborso. L'assistenza ufficiale l'avrebbe mandata in Portogallo per 6 settimane: completamente fuori da ogni logica.

Es una cámara bastante compacta y muy práctica para viajar y moverse, disponiendo de gran calidad de imagen

Seguramente una de las mejores cámaras del mercado para fotografía de naturaleza (animales y sobre todo aves). Muy buena opción para quien no quiera llevar peso en grandes sesiones de naturaleza o viajes. Después de usar durante muchos años cámaras réflex, el cambio a micro 4/3 a sido lo mejor que he hecho. Y concretamente a OM System.

Viendo los vídeos, reseñas, etc. de Influencers, imagino que con intereses paralelos, te cuentan lo buena que esta cámara y en lo que supera a los anteriores modelos de Olympus, de los cuales tengo tres cámaras.Sencillamente es mentira. De acuerdo que el procesador será de última generación y los modos ordenador o computacionales han sido potenciados, pero eso ya lo hacían, más lento, las cámaras de hace ocho años, en concreto la EM 5 II.Que ahora el live ND llega a seis pasos en vez de cinco… Que en vez de 60 fotogramas por segundo, tira 120… Que el Pro Captur recoge hasta 70 fotografías en el buffer y en los anteriores modelos eran 35 o 50. Me da igual.La calidad aparente de construcción es claramente inferior que las de las máquinas a las que sustituye: EM 1 X y EM 1 MK III.El visor electrónico tiene una porrada más de resolución, pero en las cámaras mencionadas no hay píxeles muertos después de años de uso, y en esta hay unos cuantos, incluso un grupo que distrae mientras estas usándolo.Las ruletas de selección van encastradas en el cuerpo de la cámara. En la EM 1 MK III van sobre el chasis y son ergonómicamente perfectas y con un tacto lo suficiente suave pero preciso como para que las selecciones se lleven a cabo de modo sencillo y eficaz. La EM 1 X, sí las lleva encastradas pero tanto el tacto del material de las ruletas dentadas, la resistencia al accionamiento, así como la colocación dentro del dispositivo, hacen que sean igualmente eficaces.Pues bien en esta OM 1, todo eso está mal resuelto. Son difíciles de accionar por estar mal situadas, especialmente la posterior, además están duras con lo que la fuerza rotatoria que debes de aplicar, dificulta la selección e incluso la estabilidad de la cámara a la hora de realizar las tomas. Además estas ruletas son de un plástico o goma, que tampoco ayudan a mitigar este problema.Puede que parte de la valoración anterior se deba a que mi modelo es defectuoso… he solicitado el reembolso, ¿pero como me pueden decir que el menú a mejorado de forma ostensible, cuando la única manera que tienes para ir hacia atrás en el mismo es presionar la tecla menú, que está en la parte superior izquierda del cuerpo?Es que aunque el menú se vea en el visor, te va a dar igual, porque necesitas las dos manos para utilizarlo…Resumiendo: De la EM 1 X he leído y visto que se decía que era una cámara perfecta porque no interfería en la labor del fotógrafo… pues esta OM 1 es justamente lo contrario.Respecto a nuevo sensor, ni ganas rango dinámico, ni reduce el ruido. Eso sí el tropic X le hace ir muy rápido.

I moved from an M-10 to this machine. It is incredible. Every button and dial can be customised to your style of photography. There are 4 presets for perhaps, bird tracking, macro, portrait etc, built in ND filters which work really well (you will still need graduated) It works well in the dark with an amazing ISO level and IR reading. Coupled with the pro lenses it will get the best out of you as a photographer. Consider getting the battery pack for longer shooting, more preset options and easier to use rotation of the camera. Add a hand strap to manage the weight better and you won’t really notice the camera even when walking round the city for a day. What else, easy to use menu, with favourites settings, personalised art settings that process all with one shut of the buttons no need to keep turning the dial for multiple shots, The tracking of birds, dogs, trains, planes and F1 cars are superb as is the personalising of portrait mode and ease of subject selection for group shots. It takes some work to get used to it all, perhaps buy a good book and use OM’s on line videos to speed the process. I ( as you may tell) absolutely love it. Oh dont forget the highest standards of weather protection too.

Best Camera I have owned, this one does it all for me. Started with Olympus OM series way back in the 80s and I am pleased to be back, in between I have used Minolta 35mm, Nikon 35mm, Sony Digital, Nikon Digital, migrated to Panasonic four thirds owing to missing photos whilst travelling as full frame was too cumbersome to carry around and especially on a boat, compact size of Panasonic was great, but now this little beauty was launched and in reach for me to purchase and I am back where I started, its a Beautiful Instrument. Yes I know some will complain about it not being full frame and depth of field capability, but really, this does it all and especially with the ability of post digital image processing.

The OM-1 needs no introduction as there have been enough professional reviewers that have gone through the camera and I am glad to say that they are right, this is a worthy successor to the flagship categorisation. Its computational functions are truly an improvement for a camera its class, and even works with lenses made to conform with the Four Thirds standards. Well done, OM System. Looks like there is nothing to worry about for the future.More importantly, this is the last camera to carry the Olympus name. Something that the Olympus faithfuls will like to add to their cabinet.

Es un gran cámara, tiene de todo lo que se puede pedir, pero para mí sinceramente es demasiado compleja, muy complicada de aprender y con multitud de opciones, le falta tener la pantalla totalmente táctil como por ejemplo las Canon.

With the OM-1, OM System (the current owners of the former Olympus Imaging Division) has apparently succeeded in doing what Olympus failed to do for quite a few years before selling their camera business. In the years before this sell-off, Olympus released two cameras that should have been flagship models: The E-M1X and the E-M1 Mark III. The former, however, is a large, heavy and expensive "brick" that trades away the size- and weight-advantage of Micro 4/3 in return for relatively modest technical improvements, and the latter is only a minor and disappointing refresh of the E-M1 Mark II. Both cameras keep the same sensor as the Mark II, and much of its capabilities.JIP, the new owners, seem to have little or no experience of camera industry. In this case, it is probably a good thing, in the sense that the former Olympus engineers have been left free to implement the ideas that had been stymied for years by the Olympus leadership. For a price only about 150 € higher than the E-M1X, one gets a far better camera only imperceptibly larger and heavier than the E-M1 II/III, with a new sensor type, a pair of the latest-generation 4-core image processors working in parallel, and several new functions and improved performance in almost every respect (not in sensor pixel-count, but anyone who takes real pictures in the real world can tell you that 20 Mpixel is more than enough for over 95% of commercial image uses).The sensor itself has a group of four pixels under each microlens and Bayer filter. This means that the sensor is not really 80 Mpixel, but neither it is just a plain 20 Mpixel. For one thing, each group of four photodiodes can be used for AF, and still provides image data during the actual exposure (unlike the dedicated AF pixels of all Olympus E-M1 Mark I/II/III and E-M1x models). The stacked sensor architecture also means that, in spite of the four times higher number of photodiodes, each image is read out of the sensor twice as fast as in earlier models.Hopefully, like Olympus used to do before losing its ways, over the years the OM-1 firmware will continue to be gradually upgraded with new functions to take advantage of this sensor architecture and the plentiful reserves of processing power.As for me, I an happy that I did the right thing and, after the E-M1 Mark II, decided not to upgrade to later Olympus models because their improvements were simply too small to be worth the cost. The OM-1, instead, so far has proved to be everything I have been waiting for. I am keeping my E-M1 II and E-M1 "I" because I still have uses for them, and frequently use full-frame Sony Alpha cameras in the lab, but the OM-1 is quickly becoming my favorite camera for outings and field work.

Es una cámara versátil, con buenas capacidades de vídeo, lo cual es una buena noticia para OM Systems, pero no es una "wow" cámara y ni mucho menos vale lo que piden por ella.
