This stand is made from powder coated aluminium and is so easy to fit. I had to drill two holes in my scooter for the supplied machine screws to go through and engage in the threads in the base of the stand. (Suggestion number 1 - supply two small washers as well to spread the load.)I made a template for the holes I had to drill by placing a piece if thin cardboard on the base of the stand and rubbing a pencil over it. (Suggestion number 2 - why not provide a ready made template for those of us retrofitting an older scooter?)Despite my "suggestions", which could be misconstrued as criticism, this is an excellent product and highly recommended.
