Compared to other 4wd Arduino robot cars, this is a superior product, with good quality parts, an excellent tutorial and excellent support. It was fun to assemble the kit and I was particularly impressed with the ability to control the car with an RF hand-held controller. A beginner should be able to get all the sketches to work properly. The coding for some of the simpler sketches is explained, but it would be nice if more of the advanced coding were explained in future tutorials. One interesting point is that the 4 motors are prewired and soldered with a plug at the end. This is different to a lot of the other kits on the market, where the buyer has to solder the wires to the motors and then connect to the motor driver (eg L298). As a result, a lot more coding needs to be done to ensure that the car moves in the correct direction. This is clear in sketch 1.1.3, which could have been made a lot simpler if the motors on the left and right side had been wired differently. On the whole, this kit is good value for money, and would provide many hours of entertainment for the buyer.

Das Set ist gut durchdacht. Der Aufbau des Moduls mit ein wenig Erfahrung problemlos. Ich hatte ein Problem mit einer Funktion. Der Kundendienst ist genau so wie versprochen wird. Habe selten einen solch effizienten Service erfahren. Das Unternehmen ist vertrauenswürdig.

Las instrucciones de montaje son muy claras. Tuve un problema con la instalación de los drivers en mi pc y la respuesta del Centro de soporte fue rápida

Compré el kit para entretenerme... Viene en una caja super organizada con montones de sensores piezas etc.La placa de control esta basada en Arduino y ni el software ni el Mac la reconocían. Contacté con el servicio técnico y me respondieron siempre muy rápido enviándome los drivers pero no funcionaban.Lo devolví sin saber que ocurría, una pena.

El kit 4WD de Freenove es una excelente elección para introducirse en el mundo de la robótica. Por un precio similar a otros productos parecidos obtenemos un robot más completo, con luces leds RGB y un mando a distancia incluido.Los componentes vienen muy bien ordenados dentro de cajas etiquetadas y que describen las piezas que contienenLa documentación (en inglés) es muy detallada, y tanto en la caja como en una tarjeta que hay dentro aparece el enlace para descargarla. Incluye el proceso de montaje muy detallado y también ejemplos y detalles de los componentes incluídos.La calidad de las piezas, tanto de las electrónicas como de las del chasis es muy buena.Se incluyen todas las herramientas necesarias para su montaje.En definitiva es una exclente elección de kit para aprender robótica con Arduino y a un precio insuperable.

Although similar in design and form, the Freenove version of a Robot Car is superior in design and execution. I have read other reviews of this kit and offer some insight to consider.The components are of excellent quality and the fit of the build is simple to assemble with a number of cables which only fit (mate) to the proper ports on the control board greatly reducing the possibility of errors. I have purchased other Freenove kits and bought this one due to their excellent manuals and great customer service (which other companies sorely lack).There should be some attention paid to the fact that this is a kit and not a plug-n-play toy so you must bear this in mind and set your expectations accordingly. It is intended to teach some electronics and software basics while producing a great “toy” in the process. You DO NOT need to program to get this car to work! You have the option to just upload a software package called a “sketch” (although you do have the option to make changes to the code as well). Just follow the instructions which explain everything step by step. However, you do need access to a computer to upload software to the control board on the car and to the remote (this is not rocket science but may be a little intimidating to someone who has never done this before). If it is a present for a child make sure that they are at least 12 years old or have an adult to assist with the build and access to a computer with Internet access to download Arduino IDE (a free open-source safe software system used globally).If you encounter any issues, Freenove Customer Support is very responsive and detailed. I had a problem with the Tracking Mode on this Car (the other 2 modes worked great). The IR Sensor Module was not close enough to the ground to work properly. After contacting Freenove’s Customer Support, regarding the Tracking Mode issue, they informed me that new kits will have an improved chassis plate (like the replacement part I received) and the 4WD Robot Car will no longer have this issue. However, if you have an earlier version I suggest that you contact Freenove as I did.” The replacement part made all the difference and the Robot Car is now fully functional.I highly recommend this Robot car and the other Freenove Kits as well.

Me decidí por este kit por todo lo que incluye1) 2 arduino,2) chasis completo con 4 motores3) módulos bluetooth4) fichero de libre descarga (está en la descripción del producto en Amazon) que incluye un tutorial paso a paso tanto para el ensamblaje como para usar y entender el código. El montaje esta muy bien explicado, la explicación del código progresivamente te ayuda a entenderlo, si el producto era de la misma calidad, se mereceria sin lugar a dudas 5 estrellas.Una vez abierto, las primeras impresiones fueron muy buenas. Todo protegido e identificado, hasta los tornillos y tuercas en bolsas individuales con su etiqueta. Empece el montaje y todo encajaba perfectamente.Pero cuando estoy por a la mitad del montaje he encontrado dos defectos graves1) piezas del chasis superior le faltan 4 agujeros en la parte superior y 1 en la inferior (ver foto1).2) caja para baterías tiene un cable mucho más corto de lo necesario que hace imposible conectarlo en la manera está previsto (ver foto2 donde comparo con foto en amazon)Continuaré el montaje con alguna chapuza para salvar los defectos.Producto, embalaje, tutorial, ejemplos de código,... se merecen 5 estrellas pero no puedo darle más de 2 estrellas.***6/abrilLes envié un email a la dirección aparece en su web reporando los defectosEn solo 4 días, se han puesto en contacto conmigo para reponerme las piezas defectuosas y hacerme un abonoServicio al cliente de 5 estrellas me hace subirle la nota

Un excellent kit très bien fait, facile à monter et performant (sauf la commande infrarouge, quasi inutilisable). Le prix est intéressant compte tenu du nombre de pièces fournies (dont 2 Arduinos). Le support technique auquel j'ai demandé les schémas électroniques du kit me les a envoyé immédiatement ! Bravo !
