Have tried two other makes with limited success. Purchased this model and just returned from a 750 mile bike pack trip. Instantly installs, rock stable, no finicky attachments, no constant readjusting or slippage. And best of all, no rubbing with a fork that travels on rough terrain.

Only 1 trip with it so far. Around 200km bikepacking on really (really) rough gravel roads. Zero issues with it! Kept my dry bag of choice tight to the harness. Didn't wobble much (or at all). Didn't get in the way of the handlebars or breaks (on a hardtail mountain bike, flat bars). Sits well above the front wheel.It will sit against the post of your bike (not elevated above it like I've seen in some photos-- the weight will cause it to drop and rest on your post), so if you are worried about it rubbing against the metal maybe install some hard foam between the two materials (my bike is old so I didn't care, but will install foam on this when I get a new bike).Great price for the product. It's sturdy, easy to install and use on the road. I expect a lot of use out of it.

Only wish Aeroe sold the cradle only, less mounting hardware, as I needed it to mount on my fork crown. But for it to work I had to fabricate my own mount from a piece of aluminum bar. Love the cradle on the fork crown. It is rock solid, nothing to slip.
