Works ok, gave it to my 3 year old granddaughter but mum took it away. So if she gets lost they will need to have a different strategy.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter when we go camping. Its on a lanyard that she has to wear when we venture out on a trail. With this- I know that if she ever gets lost or feels like she is in danger, she can alert us right away. Great piece of mind! Only 4 stars because you have to blow pretty hard to get a good tone from it, but it works great nonetheless! And its very bright pink so it is harder to misplace or lose.

The slimline whistle is as the name states, Very Slim so you can attach it to your key chain and put it in your pocket. Not bulky and best of all this slim whistle is Very Loud. I bought this for my daughter to have just in case of an emergency. I only bought one just to make sure that the whistle was loud enough. I plan on buying more for stocking stuffers. I would definatley reccomend this for any one who wants that lil extra security without having a bodyguard!

I bought this to attach to the ring on my wife's Sabre Red Pepper Spray. The shade of pink is slightly darker than the pepper spray case; but goes together well. I removed the ring that came with the whistle, and put it on the quick release of the pepper spray (thereby allowing the user to use the pepper spray and whistle independently). She also has a house key on the ring of the pepper spray; for when she goes running. This whistle is VERY loud, with only a minimal blow into it. Very pleased with this. This, and the pepper spray is a good gift for the women in your life guys.
