Great pieces, but no separate violin parts, just complete scores with piano in large print and violin part small score. These violin pieces should have parts for the violinist, not just for the pianist! Unacceptable!

Quick take: Don't order this here from Amazon. One of my students found this on SharMusic dot com, WITH the violin part. I recommend getting it from there, not from here. And for those of you who are leery of strange websites -- Shar is a brick-and-mortar violin store in Michigan. Totally legit. I've ordered from there tons of times with fewer issues than I get from Amazon.Now for the bulk of the review:Despite 67% of all the reviews that said that it's missing the violin part (3 reviews from 2012, and one from just a few weeks ago), I ordered this, figuring that TWO more recent purchases (from 2014 and 2016) didn't complain about the missing violin insert.Boy, was I wrong.The book arrived in pretty good condition (one corner was crushed), but the violin insert is completely missing. To be fair, the listing here makes no mention of a violin part. But I have a friend who has TWO older copies of this, and they both have the violin parts. Who was I to think that they'd sell just the piano part with violin cues?I ended up keeping this overpriced piano part and borrowed my friend's to photocopy the violin part.

The piano accompaniment is pretty boring. In addition, there is no count in at the start of each piece. Thats OK if you have a few bars intro from the Piano but when the violin begins BEFORE the piano it is virtually impossible to tell when the piano will begin its accompaniment without a count in? returned and refunded.
