I've used reptile carpets for a long time because of some health issues with my lizard awhile back. This carpet is as good as the others but a bit cheaper than some brands. They have many different sizes including a very large size which is perfect for my large terrarium. I had to cut it to make it fit in 3 pieces but it is very easy to cut using a box knife. This is very easy to apply to your terrarium and can last many months before having to buy a new one. I wash mine every couple of weeks once it gets really dirty but I always spot clean my lizard's poop. After awhile of just rinsing it out you will notice it starting to smell and that's when you need to buy a new one. The only downside is if you left poop harden to the carpet its difficult to scoop off and sometimes you need to scrub it off when cleaning. If you stay on top of the poop this shouldn't be a problem. This is an easier bedding to use but it is also cleaner if you're worried about health issues for your reptile/amphibian. It does not allow for burrowing and sometimes my lizard will work his way under the carpet. It's personal preference to use a carpet like this but if you do then I recommend this brand.

This substrate liner has been very convenient. I am new to owning a reptile and after much research, I found that most people agree that a substrate liner is the safest option for a baby leopard gecko. Apparently, whatever loose substrate is placed in the terrarium will end up in their mouths and cannot always pass through safely. This particular liner stood out to me due to its price point but I am happy to say that the quality is there as well.I chose the brown color since my terrarium is more of a rocky desert scene. I have a 10 gallon tank and I found the 10 gallon liner fit perfectly without needing adjustment. I just unrolled it and put it right in. The ends do curl a bit at first but straighten out fairly quickly. I have not had any issues with my gecko getting stuck to this liner. I have removed it once so far for cleaning. It was a little strange to clean a piece of scratchy felt and I had to rinse for a while. However, when I was done, the mat dried very quickly and looked as good as new. I am quite happy about that.In fact, I have such a favorable impression of this product that I have already purchased a second one of these so that I can place in a clean one immediately when I take a dirty one out to wash. I think I will continue using this product even as my gecko gets older since it is so convenient. Its also more sanitary than traditional substrate I think. There are less places for germs to be and also, it is easier to see when the substrate needs changed. As a bonus, it also gives insects less hiding places.
