A beautiful product for a great price for the quality. Solid, nice stones, etched lines in the board. I bought a similar set 4years ago and it has been great. I love it so much I bought a second one from this company. The ceramic stones are durable. Only one chipped in 4 years and its because someone dropped it on tile from table height.

Muy bonito el set pero me llega defectuoso el goban.Buen embalaje y materiales, pero podrían revisar lo que envían porque la capa del tablero de 13x13 está rajada por dos sitios.Lo devolví y pedí otro. Este si llega en buenas condiciones.

Excelente conjunto.1. Embalaje muy resistente, con poliespan para evitar golpes.2.El goban (tablero) es de muy buena calidad, serigrafiado y con funda de tela que cierra con velcro. Tiene dos caras, una 13x13 y la estándar 19x19.3. Las piedras son biconvexas y tienen un tacto muy agradable. Parecen ser de melamina pero no dan sensación de plástico, son bastante pesadas.4. Los cuencos para guardarlas piedras son de madera (parece bambú) y llevan unas cintas con velcro para evitar que se abran. Viene una bolsa con cremallera para transportarlas.En fin, estoy muy satisfecho. La calidad del producto por el precio pagado es más que correcta. Lo recomiendo.

This is our family's first Go Board purchase and this was the right choice. Sure the board is a bit on the pricey side but the upgraded stones make for a much better playing experience. Trust me on this, spend the extra on the pieces if you think you'll play often. I find players in our house "fiddle" with them before making the next move. I opened a new tab for every Go Board Yellow Mountain had to offer. This is the best combination besides perhaps the 2" board which I don't really think is needed. If you are wondering about the price differences, it's usually the pieces.The board arrive very well packed. I honestly don't know how these companies can afford the shipping costs, the box was massive. But inside, was a very well packaged and protected board. The board cover is a nice touch and I assume helps keep moisture away from the board that might otherwise warp it (we take the time to put the cover on after every time we play).There is a nice instruction booklet that comes with the set. This was more useful than I thought. Go is easy to learn but there are some unique situations you'll run into the which the little booklet often covers.I'd love to see this game take off. It's easy to learn and hard to master. I've heard this said before, but you really have to play to understand what people mean.We'll sometimes have speed games where we don't put too much thought into it and other times we'll have more well thought out games that sometimes take a couple of days to complete (due to busy schedules).Overall all a fantastic purchase and looks great on the table. We're a big board game family and I look forward to buying more boards from Yellow Mountain, they really set the standard.
