On a wall, I have an electronic picture frame that can hold a couple of thousand pictures. It is loaded by sliding an SD card into a slot in the back. That is ok but the frame has to be taken down for access to the slot. I bout this extender and put it in the slot. Now I can put the SD card in the extender to add pictures while the frame is still hanging. The extender is longer than it really needs to be so it sticks out the bottom of the frame by a couple of inches but it does the job. It stays in the slot without falling out but if you want to do this, be sure the slot in your frame is tight enough.

This does fit standard microsd cards and the male side is the exact dimentions of a microsd card however it is longer to accommodate the wiring. This slight extention causes it to be able to move easily in the slot.when its seated correctly i am able to get a card to be recognized, however it shows as a different name and also when checking under linux i am seeing alot of I/O read errors which also caused me to loose data on one of my cards.Because of the read errors im also getting issues where the OS wants to format the drive before it can use it.I will note that i have tested this on different microsd cards and also tested the cards without the extender. my results show that the extender i recieved is defective or this product just doesnt work as intended.

Unico problema la microSD tende ad uscire, non regge bene il blocco per l'inserimento, ho risolto tenendo leggermente schiacciata la parte superiore
