Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass WLED so gut auf diesen Geräten funktioniert.Perfekt um kleine RGB Projekte umzusetzen und nicht die normalen riesigen ESP32-Chips irgendwo unterbringen zu müssen.Da die Chips ja etwas kleine sind, ist die Leistung natürlich ein Stück weit geringer, aber dennoch reicht sie - für in meinem Fall WLED - komplett aus.Zur Verarbeitung lässt sich nur sagen, dass alles funktioniert. In meinen Augen muss der Chip nicht gut aussehen.Somit ein gelungenes Produkt, welches ich mit einer klaren Kaufempfehlung unterstütze.

Much better wifi than other boards i tried. plattform io did not have a board def, but adafruit esp32-c3 worked. Would be great if you could disable the smart led for low power consumption.

Im Rahmen des Amazon Vine Programms habe ich die ESP-32-C3 Boards zum testen zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Leider waren 2 von 3 Boards defekt (keine Reaktion bei Anschluss), daher sehe ich mich außerstande diese positiv zu bewerten. Daher leider nur 1 Stern.

After a hiatus from tinkering with development boards, I decided to give the ESP32-C3 chips a try, and I'm so glad I did. These chips pack a ton of features into a small package. I've dabbled with basic programs utilizing the onboard WS8212 LED and the WiFi/Bluetooth connectivity, and everything has worked flawlessly. Setting it up in the Arduino IDE was a breeze. My aim is to use these chips for various automation tasks around the house and integrate them into esphome in my home assistant setup.

While these units are nice and small. Be aware that the WiFi is severely handicapped by the antenna.It's a known problem with these, the transmit can only be set to 5dbm or less otherwise it will not work.I did get it to work at 80% power but not reliably. Best to keep it low.If you don't need WiFi, they work great. I was driving LEDs using NeoPixel, processing I2S and transmitting via WiFi simultaneously with no problem.Programmed using PlatformIO in VS Code as well as Arduino.
