E-Paper refreshing
Refresh mode
- Full refresh: e-Paper flicker when full refreshing to remove ghost image for best display.
- Partial refresh: It don't flicker if you use partial refresh (only some of the two-color e-paper support partial refresh).
- Note that you cannot use Partial refresh all the time, you should full refresh e-paper regularly, otherwise, ghost problem will get worse even damage.
Refresh rate
- When using, you should set the update interval at least 180s.(except Partial supportable types)
- Please set the e-Paper to sleep mode or power off it directly, otherwise, the e-Paper is damaged because of working in high voltage for long time.
Working place
- We recommend you to use the e-Paper indoor. If you need to set the e-paper outdoor, Please place the e-paper in shadow and protect it from UV. When you designed you e-paper product, you should take care about the working situation like temperature, humidity, etc.

This e-paper is a great little screen for seeing quick status and alerts on my raspberry pie. The portability is a the biggest plus since I can multipurpose this screen since it is compatible with mini pie computers. The screen display is stable and clear. Definitely worth having in my tech tools.*** Helpful? I rely on customer reviews for all my online purchases, so I hope so! ***

I ordered this thinking it was all i needed but this is just the screen. there isnt an interface pcb board with it so only order if your looking to replace your broken screen.

There are a few reviews I have seen that people are complaining that there is no adapter module included. Well the listing does saw RAW display and so you shouldn't be expecting one. I happened to have one of the waveshare universal driver boards, so I was able to hook it up in seconds and load the demo sketch on it.As you can see, it's crip and it also supports partial refresh which is a great feature! Waveshare always produces quality and this is no exception! The adapter I'm showing in the picture is the ESP8266 from Waveshare. If you do use that adapter make sure that you put the selector switch in position A otherwise it will paint the screen and then refresh to blank.If you're buying this product, you already know the value of E-ink technology and what the lifespan is of the displays. You're gonna enjoy playing with this 3.7 inch size!
