Very good wacaco machine

Çok keyifli bir şey. Kahvenin lezzetini gayet yoğun veriyor, el gücüyle sıkmaya rağmen harika köpüğü bile bardağa akıyor. Tek sorun istediğim sıcaklıkta olmuyor. Belki öncesinde bardağında da sıcak su bekletmek istenilen sıcaklığa ulaşmayı sağlayabilir.

Have just returned from a weekend camp where this little gadget met my coffee need. The espresso produced through pumping boiled water through the system had a fabulous crema and gave as smooth a drink to the tongue as one might dream of. The Nespresso adapter made it easy and quick, and I hadn’t expected there to be a bag with it but that’s a bonus to keep things together, and clean. Its small size dropped easily in to my rucksack, though you do need a stove or flask of boiling hot water. The choice of ground or pod gives great flexibility in coffee choice. It works well, looks good, and I didn’t have any issues at all. With Nespresso adapter fitted the unit fits in the main bag. Don’t forget there’s a cup that pulls off the water tank which I failed to see on making my first drink- shown in the picture. Pumping away the unit pressured well with no leaks. Now to save up for a barista kit!

I’ve been saving this in my cart for almost a year now. With several upcoming short and long trips, I finally decided to buy it to see if it was worth the money and carryon real estate. Now I wish I had bought it sooner. I reviewed this using Original Line Nespresso pods, which I plan to take with me (for convenience) on travel. I tested it 3 times.Pros: it is compact, (somewhat) light, and fits in a handy drawstring carry bag. It easily fits in a backpack or carryon suitcase. It comes with an Original Line Nespresso pod adapter (but careful—-see “con” below) as well as an adapter, a cup, and a measuring spoon for regular grounds. It works on human power, bike-pump style, not electricity or batteries, which means it can be used literally anywhere. I used both thumbs and about 15-20 good presses. It makes rich espresso, albeit not as “crem-ey” as a regular espresso machine.Cons: I marked it down a half point as it is more like a 4.5/5. Be careful of 3 things. First, after using, when removing the used Nespresso pod, be sure to unscrew only the extractor adapter top lid, not the silver metal ring below the pod. The adapter is what holds the pod in place to better extract the coffee. Do not dump it into the trash by mistake. Like I did :-p 😅!!!! Second, screw the water and pod adapter lids extra tight. Water leakage is possible during pumping, which can result in burns. Finally, if you use this for backpacking, or are really mindful of weight, it is solid (not flimsy, which is good; but it does have a bit of heft).But true coffee addicts will likely sacrifice other weighty items to keep their coffee ritual intact!!!!Neutral: you must provide your own boiling water. Usually you get (or can easily find) boiling water wherever you go. My thinking is, if it provided that feature, it would likely require some kind of electrical heating element, which would add weight, so I do not personally view that as a negative.All said, it is nice to know that I will never again go without my Nespresso or good coffee, whether I’m visiting friends or staying at some random hotel on business or holiday.A must for traveling coffee addicts.Update: Tried it on a recent road trip (in an area notorious for bad coffee). Worked like a charm. Love that requires no batteries or electricity and that the process is intuitive. Nespresso-espresso smells and tastes delicious after extracted from the devise. THIS is now going with me on most recreational and business trips. Worth making room for it in carryons. Highly recommend.

Lo usamos para irnos de vacaciones. Nunca sabes qué tipo de cafetera encontrarás en la casa alquilada. Uso fácil, resultado excelente con cápsulas Nespresso ( no he probado con café molido) y limpieza muy fácil. El café sale con su espuma. Recibió la aprobación de todos los freakis del café que la probaron.

Cuando la recibi me sorprendio su tamaño compacto, luego la probe y el resultado fue bastante bueno pero me sorprendio que a partir del decimo cafe todo cambio. La cafetera ya no tiene la misma presion y el mismo cafe que antes salia muy bien ahora esa misma marca de cafe ya sale sin espuma y con mal sabor y un poco aguado. Es evidente que ha perdido presion o algo falla y por eso, su poca fiabilidad y sobre todo por lo poco que ha durado he decidio dar una nota baja. Creo que por el precio que tiene para ser una cafetera que ni siquiera es electrica y es totalmente manual, deberia ser mas fiable y duradera, y se demuestra que la calidad de construccion es muy mala. No la volveria a comprar y no te la recomiendo si buscas una cafetera portatil y duradera que te permita amortizarla

Súper práctica. El café que resulta tanto de cápsulas como con café molido es excelente al nivel de cualquier máquina express, tengo una Krupss súper automática y el resultado es similar. Se limpia fácil, no pesa mucho, es robusta... para mi la única pega el “nozzle” que gotea después de hacer el café y puedes manchar si la echas en la mochila sin mi limpiarla, por lo demás perfecta.

Me compré la versión con el adaptador para usar cápsulas Nespresso, ya que quería poder hacer café en cualquier sitio y no tener que preocuparme por el almacenamiento del café.La máquina es muy buena para café molido, pero no para las cápsulas. Conseguía un café bueno de cada 10 con las cápsulas. La cápsula no se rompe adecuadamente y el agua se atasca, saliendo por dónde puede, menos atravesando la cápsula. Total que sale algo de café y bastante de agua. Lo que se consigue es un café aguado.La probé durante 2 semanas y la devolví por este problema. Cuando rompe la cápsula adecuadamente el café es muy bueno. Mejor que con la cafetera automática de Nespresso que tengo.En cuanto al café molido hay que molerlo fino para que salga bien. Pero es mucho más fácil que salga bien que con la cápsula.Por ese motivo pongo una nota general de un 3, pero en facilidad de uso le pongo un 4.

El sabor es muy bueno y es muy cómoda de usar aunque siempre hay que tener en cuenta cómo conseguir agua caliente. Me gustaría que el depósito de agua fuera algo más grande da para un expreso. Con las cápsulas es verdad que a veces las rompe y hace que haya posos en el café en mi caso son pocas las veces que pasa como un 10%.

Al ser tan pequeña y manejable, la tengo en mi despacho. Al ser manual, no hace ruido, por lo que no molesto a nadie, y en un momento, con las cápsulas, tengo un café espresso muy bueno. Genial! Con cafe molido creo que no va tan bien, porque me parece que la cantidad de café que permite es pequeña.
