I needed this product to replace an aging USB hub I use on my laptop. The description of the product states it is a 4 in 1 with one USB3 and 3 USB 2 ports. The product works as advertised but all 4 ports are blue, indicating they are all usb3 high speed ports. Only the port on the end of the hub is actually USB3. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because it is not clear which is the USB3 port which tests out twice as fast at data transfer as the others (as it should). All ports are working and I like the fact that one of the ports isn't in line with the others. I have some devices with larger USB plugs that need more room and the plug at the end of the hub allows for this.

This review is for the USB C Hub Multiport Adapter, VENTION 6-in-1 USB Type C Dock with 4K HDMI USB 3.0 Ports, SD/TF Card Reader, 100W PD Compatible with MacBook Pro Air(Thunderbolt 3), iPad Pro, Surface Pro, XPS and More£21.99 at the time of review.This hub effectively gives you two extra USB (A) ports by using up one of your USB C ports, but you also get a 4K HDMI port and SD and TF slots too making it more versatile. The USB ports can be used to connect a keyboard and mouse (even though they are USB 3) and a thumb drive or any other sort of combination. I ran a scanner off one of the USB ports and it worked perfectly.The lead is quite short at 15cms (the flexible part of the cable) which means this hub is much better suited a laptop rather than a desktop computer.It has an aluminium shell, is sleek and the blue LED at the end looks good. For me though, the big let-down is that the HDMI socket only supports up to a 30Hz refresh rate which is half of what Windows normally runs at and I would have preferred it to run at least 60Hz for a 4K signal.It is competitively priced and well made, but the low HDMI refresh rate means I am going to give 4 stars to this hub. It is a decent all-rounder and covers a lot of the bases so you might not be disappointed with it.

Habe es für das Steamdeck gekauft. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Besonders gut finde ich, daß das SteamDeck Netzteil daran angeschlossen werden kann und das Deck lädt.
