Great quality, good padding. The back pocket fits an iPad mini but not a laptop.

Ever since COVID, I turned into a bag hound. I have a dozen EDC (every day carry) bags for small tech stuff and too many photography bags, my favourite hobby. I have kept Amazon busy buying so many trinkets and accessories to stuff inside them.So I’ve got to know brands and quality, value, who makes good stuff and who doesn’t as I have dozens of brands at home for various things. I never thought of Vanguard as a bag maker, but I have learned something interesting. These guys make some of the best bags. Now I know most reading this, if you’ve come so far, think - now way man, Lowepro is the king. And I won’t argue they are fantastic. I have allot of old and late model lowepro bags. I love them. But with this Vanguard line of bags, they got an edge. Be slight, but it’s noticeable.Better quality feeling material and padding. the Zippers are buttery smooth, finish is perfect without loose threads. The Velcro fastening partitions inside the bag have strong Velcro that covers the entire edge of a side so it fastens more solidly. It comes with straps which have Velcro ends so you cane add additional security to partitions within the bag which are over stuffed, or have loose items within. Or a fragile camera lens. It’s a nice touch. The bright orange is nice as it lets you see everything you have which is mostly black, right. The design is great, the BIB series with the orange interior colour, come in a variety of sizes. Some are perfectly designed to go inside hard shell travel luggage. So you can turn these padded bags into rolly bags to add more protection and travel easier with one of those extended handles and all. Cool!Anyways, it’s really hard to make a decision based on one review and unfortunately in Canada at least, not too many brick & mortar stores carry as much in stock like they did before online shopping exploded after Covid. So you can’t go and line up your choice in bags and touch, examine them side by side. It’s just not an option. But if you want a very well made and designed photography bag, don’t hesitate on this line of Vanguard (orange interiors). I now have two and like them so very much. And I don’t buy junk. Some brands I own for those that know (Lowepro, Tom Bihn, Trakke, Alpaka, Bellroy, Manfrotto to name a few).Recommended.

this bag is the perfect size for what I'm carrying; a couple of cameras, lenses, etc. I like that the strap can be moved to different attachment points, and it comes with lots of dividers to customize the space. I do miss having additional pockets on the outside for smaller items, though.

I wanted to get more gear in less space (who doesn't?) so I bought five or so bag-in-bag dividers to see what worked for me. This bag won handily. With little-to-no wasted space, I can fit a full-size DSLR (Nikon D850), two of its premium trinity lenses (24-70 and 70-200), tripod foot, two extra batteries, remote shutter, two filters with metal stack caps, and plastic filter wrenches! Adding two peak quick-release tabs to the outside also let me quickly move the camera strap from the body to this bag to quickly so I can throw down my hiking pack and bound around with just this guy. Very happy customer here!
