A bit of a pain in the ass to spread, but I was able to hit all my VRM, chokes and memory modules on my EVGA 3080 Ti. Precision X1 says all components are adequately cooled. I'll gladly use this all instead of trying to find the right size thermal pads

i found that this past was a great alternative to using thermal tape.there are some advantages and disadvantages in using this putty. but I think toe advantages outweigh the disadvantagesthermal tape tends to be a bit spongy, so it will give a little pressure in the gap. so removing and re-installing aiming using tape sends to still give a good adherence to both surfaces.the ptty squishes down and makes a good connection to both surfaces when you install it. but, since it doesn't have that spongy effect, you have to be careful that it does make good contact when removing and re-installing something when using the putty.the big advantage of using putty is that you don't have to worry about using the right thickness tape. one of the problems in most situations where you're replacing tape is that its not unusual to need multiple-thickness tapes for various areas, and, they vh to be the right thickness so all things touch your mating surfaces. with putty, this is a non-issue.this is why I this sputty is the way to go as it is always going to fit..

It works. It applies well. The three included spatulas are nice. I've liked the brand for pastes in the past, so went with this one. The contents of this were not enough to replace the pads for a single graphics card. I did end up using it to good effect to back-fill longstanding dents in existing thermal pads to ensure good contact when re-tightened and added a small spot that didn't have a thermal pad. This used over half the content of the package making very thin layers and filling dents in existing pads. If it was actually replacing pads by volume, then I anticipate it would've taken at least half of a second 30g thimble to do a single graphics card.I wish they would add a 100g tub at a much better price per gram because I like the underlying product.

I used it on my laptop GPU's memory when I repasted the whole thing. It's not bad, but very messy to apply (much harder than thermal paste itself) and it's thermals are similar to those of low budget thermal pads. Not bad by any means and there are higher performance version of this putty as well.However...Since then I repasted the laptop again, this time with Thermal Grizzly's Phasesheet TPM (waaay better than thermal paste in a laptop since it's not pumping out) and I replaced this thermal putty with Thermal Grizzly Minus Pads, they are much easier to work with and have somewhat better performance. So overall this is a good product, but I'll just stick to thermal pads in the future.
