Yo estudié bellas artes en la universidad, pero en mis clases de historia del arte comenzábamos a ver mujeres ya en el siglo XX, este libro te permite ampliar la mirada sobre todo en la historia previa a este siglo. La historiadora es muy buena y hacer una excelente complicación. Sería interesante ver si más adelante realiza varios tomos, tipo enciclopedia.

Ein gelungenes Buch mit sehr viel recherchierter Info. Ich nehme es immer mal wieder zur Hand und lese dann ein paar Seiten durch. Ansonsten wäre mir der Inhalt zu dicht. Aber ein absolut empfehlenswertes Buch für Kunstliebhaber und jeden der sich für (Sozial-) Geschichte interessiert.

I'm a massive fan of Katie Hessel, and I listen to her podcast Great Women Artists. This book is a deep dive into the untold history of art, bringing to the fore the myriad women artists who were excluded from the establishment, and acknowledging their impact on the art world.The only negative is how brief each segment is. Of course, to give each artist longer would require a multi book series - not a bad idea!
