This cup is pretty great. Since I go to school and work, there are some days that I am out of the house for 15+ hours, and I have tried several different types of tumblers during those days to try to keep my beverages cold. I will say, this one has definitely surpassed any of the others in terms of that. I have not had ice last for more than a day, but it has lasted the till the end of the day, and that is longer than any other. Additionally, I love the flip straw! I much prefer that to standard straw tumblers. And, the lilac color is really pretty! Oh, and also, I LOVE that this fits in my car cupholder. To be a bigger cup, I worried that the bottom would be too big, but it is not! It fits fantastic and does not leak at all!!With that being said, there are some things that I don't love. One, the top makes a horrendous noise when I unscrew it. I don't know if it's just mine or if everyone's does that, but it's like metal rubbing metal when I twist it open and the sound is unnerving. Additionally, the cup is not as sturdy as I had hoped. I keep it in a side pocket on my backpack, and I set my backpack against a wall the other day (not hard, as I do keep my laptop and other fragile items in my bag), and it scuffed up my cup. I was really surprised that a light rubbing against a wall did that. Lastly, for the price point, I was a little disappointed that the cup did not keep my ice frozen for 2 days. Don't get me wrong, I AM impressed that my ice lasts most the day (those 15+ hour days), but with the hype and declarations, I was disappointed that by the end of my longer days, my ice is melted.Overall, for those that need something to keep your beverages cooler, this is a great choice. The flip straw is super convenient, and this is a good size. If you are super hard on your cups though and need something super durable, this one might not be for you.

As someone who has had 2 other Stanley tumblers, this is my favorite by far.The thing I have struggled the most with Stanelys is how badly they leak.This one doe not leak!I had bought a smaller, similar version to this one a couple years ago and am glad they have it in 40 oz now.I love having the handle on top vs on the side as well. The flip-up straw is also something I prefer vs the standard straw.So glad I got this one and if you've been hesitant about buying a Stanley, this is one you don't have to worry about.

I absolutely love my Stanley products and this was my first flip top lid like this! I love it! It is so much easier to carry, it does not leak, and the quality is great. My water stays cold and the purple is so pretty in person!
