These took a while to arrive but I can definitely recommend stalibus rods. They were very easy to replace and price comparison with europarts was substantial for same product so Amazon won the day on price.Very pleased and my boot works as intended

Lo veo un poco flojo. He comprado dos y no es igual que cuando estaba el coche nuevo. Al final del recorrido se cae el portón de golpe.

After a bad experience with some SGS struts, which didn’t damp the final couple of centimetres of travel causing the tailgate to bounce and rock the car, I discovered Stabilus and now realise that all struts are not equal. The Stabilus blurb states “With dynamic extension damping, this gas spring can open doors and lids in any mounting orientation up to a specified position, where it will gently stop the motion. This reduces wear and tear on the joints and hinges and prevents collisions with the garage ceiling or wall“. Stabilus are the OEM for quite a few car brands and as a consequence they fit and operate perfectly. Although a bit more expensive than some of the other makes on Amazon and certain well known auction sites, they’re considerably cheaper than buying through Ford. I highly recommend these struts.
