This is a really nice tent, it feels very sturdy, the zippers are nice, and it was super easy to assemble. I have a few tents in varying sizes by various different companies now and although I like this small tent they are very nice as well but don’t cost nearly as much. I have no complaints about the tent, the build quality is good, the quality of the materials are good, it’s exactly as described and it looks great too therefore the only thing that would keep me from purchasing another one would be the price. I would note that when I ordered it to review it was listed for the original price shown with no discounts however shortly after I received it the price dropped and a coupon was available as well. I like it so much I looked for a bigger one and was surprised to find one by the same brand but cheaper despite being much much larger. For that I took one star off because it doesn’t seem right that the price is lower for a tent considerably larger and this one, although very nice, is limited due to the size. I’ll probably end up getting the larger one if this one continues to impress.

Das Frühjahr ist da und damit die Zeit, in der man wärmedürftiges Gemüse (wie Tomaten, Chili, Paprika) im Haus vorzieht.Ich hatte vorher bereits für mein Aerogarden eine billigere Growbox gekauft - eigentlich, damit das Licht mich nicht stört, weil es im Schlafzimmer steht. Aber dann merkte ich, dass es super ist, um die Temperatur in der Umgebung der Pflanzen zu erhöhen - die brauchen etwa 24-26 Grad zum Keimen, während die Raumtemperatur 19-20 Grad ist. Daher habe ich, als ich ein Hydroponic System von Spider Farmer gekauft hab (Aerogarden versucht ja derzeit einen Neustart), gleich die Growbox dazubestellt.Die Stangen sind aus Metall, nicht aus Plastik wie bei der anderen. Die Eckteile sind zwar aus Plastik, aber es wirkt recht massiv und bruchsicher, und man schraubt die Stangen auch fest. Jede Stange ist mit einem Buchstaben, der draufgedruckt ist (nicht auf einem draufgeklebten Papier), bezeichnet als Referenz für die Zusammenbau-Anleitung.Der Aufbau wäre super einfach und schnell gegangen, wenn die Bezeichnungen auf den Teilen sowie in der Beschreibung gestimmt hätten, aber mit etwas Messen und Vergleichen ging es dann auch so. Im Prinzip ist eh alles selbsterklärend, wenn man das schon einmal gemacht hat und die Soll-Maße weiss. Daher ist für mich die mangelhafte Anleitung kein Grund zum Punkteabzug. Die Teile sind übrigens vorbildlich gut verpackt und recht übersichtlich.Die Growbox kommt mir recht stabil vor, ich glaub, die hält es auch aus, wenn eine Katze draufspringt. Ich bin angenehm überrascht von der Qualität und werde Growboxes nur mehr bei Spider Farmer kaufen.Anmerkung zu den lichtdurchlässigen Reißverschlüssen: ich hab mein hydroponic System noch nicht in Betrieb genommen und weiss daher nicht, ob das stimmt. Ist aber auch egal, beim anderen sieht man auch am unteren Rand Licht und natürlich beim Fenster, das ja offen bleibt, damit es zu keinem Luftstau kommt. Das stört mich nicht, weils im vorhandenen System wirklich nur wenig ist und das neue steht sowieso in einem anderen Raum, da geht es mir nur um die Temperatur. Vermutlich kann man sich eine vollständig lichtundurchlässige Growbox auch selber basteln, indem man eine Schachtel innen mit Alufolie auskleidet und über das Anzuchtset stülpt.

Very impressive grow tent! This short tent is perfect for seed starting. The 2000D canvas used to make this tent is incredibly durable and the tent was easy to put together, with the poles not only easily labeled but also all wrapped separately. The zippers all feel super solid and durable as well and it has multiple windows that can be rolled up so you can see inside without having to open the tent. The frame itself is super solid and easily holds the weight of my grow light, using cross bars that can be moved/placed where needed. The front door to the tent rolls up nicely and is large so it allows for easy access to everything within the tent. It also has an opening on the top and back that can be adjusted in size and allows not only for heat to escape but for your light cord to go through. The inside of the tent is fully reflective and it comes with a separate removable bottom which is nice for catching any mess, water drips, and leaks. Very happy with it!

I got this Spider Farmer Small Grow Tent just after Christmas and opened it in anticipation of Spring. I plan to get plants started early in the basement. As I dig through the box, I do not find any lights. With all the reflective internal surfaces, I thought the $90 (now $65 and dropping) kit would have some simple plant lights. To make this work, you have to already have an Aerogarden. I have two Aerogardens, but why do I need a tent? I disliked the Aerogardens because of the tiny pods and restricted space. The large tent doesn't change this limitation since I am supposed to move my existing setup inside.Spider Farmer makes kits with full Spectrum LED Grow Lights, but this is not one of them. The ad mentions that I can protect my plants from pets and that the internal surfaces reflect light all around. This design is similar to my photography light box but without any light. The metal poles add strength and durability, but plastic poles would work just as well since nothing heavy will be hung from the ceiling nor set upon the roof. The ad mentions "optimized airflow" with a picture of air pouring from a vent, but no fan exists. Again, this is just a tent with no light and no fan. I'm so disappointed that I won't even finish assembling this.
