Bought for the intended use of being used to create a small antenna for very near field experiments, it's a ferrite core and it looks fine, but I haven't got around to using it yet, but it is as described and it's definitely a ferrite core so I'd be very surprised if it didn't work.

I am using these to build my own 1:1 current balun for use in my ham radio antenna system. I glue 3 together end to end so that I have one piece 75mm long and I then wrap 14awg magnet wire around it, and it is working great for this purpose. Tested on 80 meter and works great!

I don't really know what to say about it. its like writing a review on a brick. it by itself isn't all that pretty of feature-full, but what you make with it can be.
