I use these pipettes to administer ear drops to my cats. I have a lot of cats, and one of them has recurring ear infections (will hopefully be resolved by ear canal enlargement, which is done by having scar tissue surgically removed from his ear canal). It is ridiculously hard to squeeze antibiotic drops into cats' ears straight from the prescription bottle, as you need to count the drops as you put them in - not to mention that it's for cats. I have had bottles of ear drops that were intended to have enough medication for 8 drops twice a day for 4 weeks, and those bottles lasted only 10 days due to unintentional overdosing. One squeeze is supposed to be one drop, but that is wishful thinking. Thanks to these pipettes, overdosing is a thing of the past. I cut the end of these pipettes down to a nub (so as not to damage the ear canal with the long, tapered, floppy end), measure out 8 drops of antibiotic onto a spoon, and suck it up with these pipettes. If you have had a cat with an ear infection, you probably know that many prescription ear drops must be kept refrigerated. Well, once the medicine is in the pipette, I roll it in my fingers for a few seconds, and it is warmed up and better tolerated by the cat. (Once, I ran it under warm water for a few seconds to warm it up.) Then I just squeeze the pipette into the ear canal and I'm done before the cat has a chance to protest and/or fight me on it. So, not only does it cut down on overdosing and waste, it is much more pleasant for me and whoever the recipient is.

I got the 100 count, I really only needed 10 but maybe I'll find a use in the future. These are very small droppers, which was exactly what I was looking for. I have a couple perfumes that I wanted to transfer to other bottles but the tops were far too small to pour from one to another. (I like to spray the perfume instead of putting it directly Kenton my skin).The droppers are about the size of a toothpick. They work very well and I am very am happy with my purchase. I gave this 4 stars because a couple of the droppers broke at the seam when I was using them. Nothing spilled and no mess was made I just had to toss it and use another one.
