Wow! Despite all the previous excellent reviews on this stand it's still better than I anticipated it would be. The stand feels like a high quality item and is constructed from metal. It's solid and sturdy and the weighted base holds it steady for me whilst I'm working.The stand is really flexible and easy to use, you can simply rotate it and lower / raise it to where you want it to be and with my digital microscope it just holds put. The equipment grip on the end of the arm is actually very good indeed and allows a lot of variety in what you could use this stand for. When I'm not using the microscope for work (I repair circuit boards and machinery) I can use this to hold a torch and it's a wonderful helping hand.Apart from the heavy base there's also a desk grip clamp included that can securely bolt the stand in place. I'll probably never use the clamp as the stand on the base is more than enough for my needs, but many people may have need of it and it's nice to have the option.I was also pleased at the size of this stand and how far it can be extended. Most of my work will be for close up detail, but for use with a light or holding other equipment it's great to be able to have it extend further.Overall this is a great stand and I'm pleased I ordered this. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

So this is an interesting acquisition actually really nice little set up. I love the fact that it has a clamp on the end to hold your microscope in place essentially that was kind of what led me to jump to it although I don’t understand why it has like a screw in clamp on the bottom to hold it on the desk because the size of its base it shouldn’t be going anywhere But I digress a while ago I had acquired myself this 1080 P ear nose and throat scope handheld job, rechargeable battery, and I was gonna use it basically like an endoscope or a war scope problem being that it only allowed you to see so far and you couldn’t really see around corners and that had its limitations I recently got a really nice actual endoscope purpose made, and uses my phone as the screen so neither my wife and I are our doctors. There’s really no need I guess for it so it was kind of one of those well can use it like a magnifying glass because it works exceptionally well you can zoom into stuff. It’s almost Scary. It’s illuminated at the end. You can take pictures with it. It’s actually an impressive little unit for the money, but when I saw this this basically a microscope stand/boom so you can set it however you want and yeah the screen I’m dealing with is only little but for especially like surfacemount type soldering It’ll allow me to zoom in enough to be able to see what I need to see in detail I never really thought of before which is exciting. It’s built well it’s a little bigger than I anticipated because this was going to be for my soldering projects which I tend to do inside the house as opposed out in my barn, so I’m kind of crossroads regarding that now as to what I should do because I’ll never use it to its full potential unless it’s inside but if it’s that big, it’s gonna have to be taken down and put away if I gotta spend five minutes digging it out every time I need to use it it’ll never get used at least I’m self-aware right so I’ve got to kinda assess the situation more and figure it out, but it holds that little and the little ear nose, throat, scope excellent it does the thing in a way that it technically wasn’t made anticipating neither one of these two items were really But when a purpose built, slaughtering microscope starts at about three times more than what it would cost to buy these two items separately or equivalent suddenly there making it work as it sits seems a whole lot more appealing now at least that’s the perspective I take on it either way it does the thing it was a great value plenty of bang for your buck And honestly, it can probably be used for a few other things the way that the clamp screws into the boom it wouldn’t surprise me if you could use other threaded male lens worst-case needing an adaptor of some sort that could probably be made either way it does the thing and I bet you if you use a little imagination, you could probably make it do even more things that’s a win in my books

This turns a basic digital microscope into a much more useful tool. If you research the current crop of low cost scopes, the biggest differences are in the stands. The cheapest offer something hopelessly unuseable.The class that I'm interested in are the ones with a built in monitor offered from 4.3 inches to 10 inches, the DM9 family, available from many vendors. There is a basic model with a stand only suited for small PCBs. The upgrade offers a stand with a bit more reach, but they are all pretty similar except for the stand.This stand will let me maximize both the area covered at low magnification and will let me extend to the middle of say, a motherboard. It also clears the area under the lens somewhat for probe or soldering iron clearance. I was a bit apprehensive remembering the lamps and magnifiers that used this type of arrangement as they were a little loose and jiggly. This one at least new, has tight joints and holds a position well, so far. It also offers additional rotation, which would let you work on a vertical surface if necessary. The clamp for the microscope also lets you position it higher or lower if you need more clearance. And you can tilt a little in any direction to get the scope perpendicular to the board surface, or sneak a peek under obstructions. It beats the upgrade versions and lets you buy the lowest cost in the family and have the highest functionality. Recommended.Had to add this: You can turn the column for a DM9 upside down and use the little black locknut to attach the column to this stand. you just unscrew the plastic clip and the threads will fit the locknut then the column will thread into the lock nut. invert the microscope and youre done.

Aunque está claramente pensado para microscopios, mi mente viajó directamente a mi micrófono Tonor TC-777, ese compañero fiel que, años atrás, se ganó su lugar por su imbatible relación calidad-precio.El Tonor venía con todo un kit para arrancar: mini-trípode, soporte antivibración y filtros, uno antibrisas y otro antipop. Pero ahora, con necesidades distintas y dos setups en casa —uno para trabajar y otro para jugar—, necesitaba algo más versátil. Y ahí es donde este brazo articulado entró en escena.La estructura es sencilla pero bien pensada: un brazo móvil, una pinza para sujeción, y dos bases —una con agarre de mesa y una móvil clásica de los flexos—. Y, aunque hubo alguna pequeña decepción, la experiencia general fue sorprendentemente buena.Empecemos por el punto débil: el brazo en su tramo inferior resulta algo rígido. No es un problema grave, pero sí limita un poco el rango de movimiento. Sin embargo, esa misma rigidez se convierte en su mayor virtud una vez encuentras la posición adecuada: no se mueve ni un milímetro, como si el brazo entendiera que cuando uno encuentra su voz, lo mejor es no interrumpirla.La pinza está claramente pensada para elementos circulares, como los tubos de un microscopio. Intenté encajar ahí mi Tonor directamente, y aunque al principio parecía que funcionaría, la sujeción me pareció demasiado blanda para un micrófono, incluso uno tan ligero como el mío.Pero aquí es donde la historia da un giro ingenioso.Recordé que mi Tonor venía con un soporte antivibración, así que desmonté el trípode original, añadí una chapa metálica deformable (con el brazo vienen dos pero solo necesité una) y monté todo en la parte superior del brazo. La chapa, al adaptarse con presión, permitió un ajuste perfecto. Resultado: un brazo de micrófono sólido, funcional y sorprendentemente pro.La mejor parte es cómo encajó en mi vida. En la mesa donde juego, instalé el agarre de mesa. Y en el escritorio elevado donde trabajo, deje la base móvil clásica de los flexos. Ahora, cambiar de espacio también significa llevar mi voz conmigo, sin renunciar a estabilidad ni calidad.Este brazo, nacido para microscopios, encontró su lugar no en un laboratorio… sino en mi estudio casero.Lo mejor:Muy buen nivel de estabilidad una vez colocado.Versátil: permite adaptaciones creativas como la instalación de un soporte antivibración.Doble base (mesa y escritorio) que ofrece gran movilidad entre espacios.Excelente relación calidad-precio.Puntos a mejorarEl brazo es algo rígido y limitado en su tramo inferior.La pinza es poco fiable (pensada más para objetos circulares y ligeros).

J'ai eu un microscope USB pendant longtemps que je ne pouvais pas utiliser car le support avec lequel il était livré était trop petit et difficile à orienter. Ce support pantographe répond parfaitement à mes besoins : il peut être placé sur une étagère grâce à sa base, ou, alternativement, il peut être fixé à la table grâce à la pince fournie. La tête est équipée d'une pince, parfaitement compatible avec la forme du microscope. Il fonctionne également incroyablement bien comme support de microphone de table si nécessaire.
