This is an incredibly made camera cage for the Sony a7R V. It fits like a glove with smooth lines and is very ergonomic in the hand, especially around the handle. It allows three points of contact mounting to the camera body, so it's rock solid as well. SmallRig made a similar design for the Sony a9 III and a1 II, but that version does not include mounting holes for a side handle like this one does. That is a huge-added bonus to me. Probably the most streamlined, yet still with lots of mounting points of any camera cage currently on the market at the time of this review. Great design, light weight, very sturdy and highly versatile. It's slightly on the expensive side, but the benefits outweigh the price.

Well designed, light and it protects camera sufficiently for my use. Great configuration for hybrid shooter where focus is more on pictures and some videography devices. I like Ulanzi devices and have their original model for A7M4 too but this one just fits better, no sharp edges and more polished.

𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗘 (𝗗𝗝𝗜 𝗥𝗦𝟰 𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗦):I specifically purchased this as it was advertised it could be used with the DJI RS4 (which technically speaking, is true); however, there is a 𝗠𝗔𝗝𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗜𝗚𝗡 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗪! the integrated plate is flush to the rest of the cage such as the battery area, this prevents you from slotting your camera on the gimbal, the normal way; all they had to do was make the plate stick out just enough so the cage doesn't get in the way.In order for me to get my camera onto my gimbal whilst in this cage, I have to remove the horizontal/vertical plate then slot in my camera from the other end then reattach. Due how close the cage is to the slot, it obstructs the tightening screw which makes the whole ordeal even more of a faff!So I now have to reuse my 'SMALLRIG Extended Arca-Type Quick Release Plate - 3162' to put it on the normal way. I bought this cage so I didn't require it.𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛𝗧𝗦:There's no denying that the quality of this cage like other SmallRig products, is top-tier.The functions of the cage are great to but to advertised it as compatible with the DJI RS4 but having to go through hoops in order for it to happen, is a major letdown.

Probada con una Sony A7R5.Pues comenzando por lo bueno.... como era de esperar, la calidad de fabricación es impresionante. Smallrig sabe haber muy bien sus productos y se nota desde el momento que lo tocas. Da una sensación de calidad tremenda en los materiales y en tratamiento sobre el metal en todos los agujeros de tornillos esquinas, etc.Sin embargo, y no culpo del todo a Smallrig, para personas con los dedos "gruesos", resulta incomoda la sujección en la parte de la empuñadura ya que apenas queda espacio para los dedos de la mano derecha... de hecho, resulta incluso un poquito incomodo porque los llevas ligeramente aprisionados....Por otro lado, esperaba que en la parte izquierda llevase algún tipo de sistema que la hiciese compatible con arcaswiss, para poder situar la cámara verticalmente en un trípode.... en mi antigua L de Smallrig para mi A7R4 era así y podía rápidamente cambiar de plano horizontal a vertical en el trípode...Por lo demás, reitero, es un producto de una calidad sobresaliente y, si no te plantea problema con los dedos, totalmente recomendable.

Die Gages für die A7 oder A9 Reihe von Sony haben bislang immer sehr wuchtig gewirkt und teilweise wichtige Tasten der Kameras verdeckt. Nun hat Smallrig endlich einen Käfig konstruiert, der zum einen sehr viele Montagemöglichkeiten bietet und zum anderen die Kamera nicht unnötig größer macht.Der 3667B oder 4481 umranden die Kamera komplett und erschweren den Zugang zu den Knöpfen und Drehrädern. Durch den Sucher wirkte das ganze System dann sehr überdimensioniert.Nun ist mir aber der 4308 über den Weg gelaufen und macht wirklich alles richtig:- alle Tasten sind sehr gut zugänglich- die oberen Drehräder liegen frei- Arca-Swiss kompatibel- der Akku lässt sich funktional wechseln- ein zusätzlicher Blitzschuh- ARRI-Aufnahme vor dem Sucher- Magnetschlüssel perfekt verstaut- der Griff Handgriff fühlt sich unheimlich gut und hochwertig an- die Optik und Haptik sind herausragend- an Gurtschlitze wurde gedachtIch bin absolut begeistert und könnte mir aktuell keinen besseren Käfig für die Sony A7IV vorstellen. Haptik und Optik haben mich hier komplett überzeugt.

Der Smallrig Cage ist die perfekte Ergänzung für die Kamera. Der Käfig bietet sehr guten Schutz und darüber hinaus, lässt sich sinnvolles Zubehör zum Filmen und Fotografieren anbringen.Die Befestigung ist gut durchdacht und bombenfest. Hier wackelt nichts!Überzeugen tut ebenfalls die Verarbeitung und Qualität des Produktes.Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen

Dispone de todos los puntos necesarios para añadir cualquier accesorio. Pero lo mejor es su peso. Completamente minimalista. Justo lo que buscaba.

El café se adapta perfecto, tiene una calidad 10 y muchos detalles que la hacen única, muy recomendable tanto para proteger tu cámara como para usarla para añadir accesorios para la grabación de vídeo.
