Maxine is noisy but other than that it’s easy to thread and makes pretty stitches. I notified seller because Singer has this same machine for 179.99. I paid $229.99 through Amazon. The seller stated they were sorry but they didn’t honor price match. So beware and go to Singers web site to order

This machine was very easy to use and recommended by a friend that was very similar to my current sewing machine! Very nice and would highly recommend it
