This is an excellent cordless hot air gun that will find a lot of use in my workshop. The device is very well constructed and it feels solid and robust for everyday use. The design ensures that the gun is easy to hold and to use, even for long periods, and the ridged handle is super grippy to avoid any sudden slips.It took quite a while to charge before first use as the battery is quite large. At 5.0Ah that's a lot of capacity, but a device like this needs it as a lot of energy is used in creating so much concentrated heat. Subsequent charges have been really quick in comparison.I love the safety feature that prevents the gun from turning on and heating up if it gets knocked accidentally. You have to press the 'on - off' button 3 times rapidly to turn the machine on. Only then can you set the temperature and control the heat gun. That's fantastic, no chance of mishaps with potentially devastating consequences. I also like the memory so I don't have to change the temperature each time I switch the device on.Included with the heat gun is a push on heat shield. Mine is attached permanently as I do a lot of circuit board repairs and the heat shield is great for directing the energy where it needs to be. The built in stand is a rea bonus as well. The device firmly stands on end and the stand folds out to hold the gun secure. It also means it takes up very little room on the workbench.Overall, a great little heat gun and the fact that it's cordless makes it super convenient and so easy to use. A great addition to my workshop, recommended.

SEEKONE Cordless Mini Hot Air GunAs I carry out a lot of delicate wiring quite regularly, I was particularly interested in this little hot air gun when it was offered to me. The heat gun arrives boxed, complete with shield and cable. I was pleased to find this was small and compact, with a tiny nozzle, making it ideal for working in enclosed areas. It is the small size that I was after as I often have tor wire up electric guitars, there is always the worry of damaging paintwork with a larger heat gun or iron.The hot air gun is made from tough abs type plastic, it is long and slender so sits in the hand nicely. On top are 2 simple controls, one is marked + the other is marked -, which are used to adjust the heat settings. Four heat settings are available which are: 150°C, 250°C, 350°C, 450°C.This has a built in rechargeable battery, it will take around 50 minutes for a complete charge, this will provide up to 23 minutes of continuous use. The hot air gun will never seem as hot as a full size heat gun, the trick is to get the nozzle as close as possible to your workpiece where you will find the reported heat. This is ideal for me as there is less risk of causing heat damage to nearby components or paint finish.Overall this appears well made and has an acceptable working time before needing a recharge. I suspect I shall be using this a lot. Compact, quiet and effective heat gun.Got this for use heat shrinking cable connections and tube, works well producing a steady localised heat enabling the area being heated to be controlled, so you don’t end up heating the cable next to the connection / heat shrink.Easy to use, remembering it arrives factory locked so the 3 x G needs clearing by pressing the plus button three times within a second. Reasonable battery power and the PD fast charge option good if need to charge in a hurry, when it should take about 50 minutes instead of 5 hours for standard charging.Well-shaped handle for use, light weight tool so easy to use for extended periods. The clip on metal shroud is a useful addition to get the heat spread round the cable.Four heat settings between 150 – 450 C, easily selectable using the plus & minus buttons.Good tool to have available on the bench

I got this very handy little heat gun for use with heat shrinking wire joints.The heat gun has been really well thought out during the design process, it fits well in the hand, and heats up quickly, it has a built-in stand that is very sturdy and secure. The four heat settings and the little slip on shield makes for very easy use. I'm very impressed with this handy little heat gun.Very highly recommended.
