I bought these boots as I was using a very similar pair of Scarpa for hill walking, trekking, climbing for 10 years, often in a very wet scottish weather and they never let me down. The new pair I bought in August 2022 had their stitches open after just 3! days of relatively easy walk across the mountains slopes. Next 10-day of trekking this August made the material scratched and pierced like none of my footwear ever been. I dont know what to think now - either these model was designed for using them primarily on the dance floor or Scarpa walking boots standards went down. Whatever the answer, this pair is a big failure for me, money loss and disappointment. I rated them with 2 stars, not one as they are or better to say 'were' indeed very light and comfy, as per description.

I am wearing these boots for the first time today, only locally just to get a feel for them. The are very comfortable and a good fit. I’m sure for proper walking they are going to be just fine

I was apprehensive about ordering on line as I had already ordered another brand , worn them at home and then had to send them back after wearing on a walk.I am so pleased with these boots. I am usually a 6 with one foot slightly larger than that. I bough a 5.5-6 (39) and it fitted well from the start. I wore them inside for a week and then ventured out. I usually do 5 miles per day. I had had no blisters or any rubbing at all, the ankles are very comfortable too- no heal lift.I have fibromyalgia so a good fit is very important. I find the boots soft and supportive and water proof. I love them. I definitely recommend them. I have had them for 3 weeks and so far am delighted! THANK YOU

These are brilliant, lightweight boots for trails and dog walking. As comfortable as slippers, good grip, great fit - big enough for thicker socks but not so big that liner socks aren’t enough in warmer weather.If you’re planning more serious walking then Scarpa’s tougher range is perhaps better. For easier daily walks, these are just about as perfect as you can get.
