We use this every day for our breakfast smoothies. Nice powerful motor and sharp blades. Only downside is that it says you cannot immerse the blade mechanism in water so cleaning it is difficult if you want it to remain hygienic. I rinse it under running water and wipe over with a damp cloth.

Very powerful blender that we're currently using to make smoothies. Blends whatever you throw at it with easy and comes out very smooth. Really happy with it so far. Not too loud for the size and power of the motor.

I was the owner of a Lidl blender prior to this purchase. The Lidl blender was very powerful (cheap) but well built and it lasted for many years. It was noisy, but had various extra container accessories and another blade. This Salter blender is much quieter, but not as powerful as the Lidl blender, therefore, it takes longer to fully blend fruit (not a major issue). The Salter two containers and lids are a softer type plastic and I find the lids not as easy to screw on for some reason, so I hope the screw thread do not get damaged at some point. I suggest for Salter to use bigger sucker feet for the blender to help stop movement, otherwise all okay for the price.
