Some instrumental sections left and the section in Revolting where the childrrn have solos in the middle.

Lovely book with photos from the stage production. As other reviewers said the pages started coming apart very quickly but still perfectly usable. The songs are well arranged and probable suited for grade 2-3.

Good for me because I am just learning to play piano, but it is not what you think it is. It only has Naughty, School Song, The Hammer (not all of it), Bruce, Telly, When I Grow Up, The Smell of Rebellion, Quiet, My House, and Revolting Children. It is missing lots of great songs. Plus, it has the London Cast Version and I wanted the Broadway Version.You need to get this (in product link):

fantastic, exactly what we hoped for, and not my 10 year-old is enjoying learning some of these much-loved tunes.For a special treat, when grandma turns up and can read the music, it is lovely to hear the lil one singing her favourite songs with the voice of an angel, as these parts are arranged very simply fro piano, also helpfully adding the guitar chords also if you're interested...Highly recommended!

Matilda the Musical is a wonderful stage play, particularly loved by my young daughter. Having enjoyed the CD of the Original Cast Recording, she wanted to play some of the songs herself. This is a selection of some `easy piano pieces," from the show. I would say that it is ideal for Grade 2/3. My daughter has only done Grade 1, but is beginning to learn one of her favourite songs with a little help. My son is Grade 4 and he finds the pieces fairly easy - so that should give you some idea of what level this is aimed at.Not all of the songs in the show are in this book, but all of the main ones appear. The songs included are:NaughtySchool SongThe HammerBruceTellyWhen I Grow UpThe Smell of RebellionQuietMy HouseRevolting ChildrenThere are also some photo's from the stage show. This is an attractive book, nicely laid out and colourful. It has encouraged my daughter to play the piano for fun and she is really enjoying learning to play the tunes she loves.

Como indica el nombre, es la versión 'Easy piano', y no es el más adecuado para hacer versiones con coral, ya que el material es demasiado sencillo. Tuve que comprar la version 'Piano/Vocal' en otro sitio.
