I bought several of these in a variety of colors as Christmas gifts for my office (we do short Pilates sessions during the week). They are really nice and are great quality. Everyone loves them! This purple one is especially pretty if you are looking for something bright! They are also a great size- not too big where you need a lot of storage space & not too small where you can fit on it- its just right.As a side note, I had bought one in a different brand as I needed one more color that was not available here & it was a bit more expensive. I would have to say when I compared them, this is the one I preferred.

I love this pillow so much I bought a second. I use it for sleeping at night, for support. Because of the natural shell husks inside, it molds to you body better. It's also great for traveling for support under your arm in the car. I've also washed and air dried the cover and it turned out great! Highly recommend

Muy útil como almohada para meditar, me provee suficiente altura para que las piernas no se me entuman. La forma permite que los pies se acomoden sin problemas y por ser tan corta no ocupa mucho espacio. El material es firme por lo que ayuda a permanecer erguida. También sirve como respaldo en una silla para hacer de soporte lumbar al permanecer sentada muchas horas. La intenté usar como asiento en la oficina para tener un poco más de altura, pero en este caso la firmeza del material se tornó incómoda después de un par de horas. El material se puede reacomodar fácilmente y se puede remover el relleno para lavar la funda.

I actually purchased this to use as a foot rest for the primary use, and then to have the benefit of also using it as a floor cushion for the times I need to sit on the floor.I was looking for a REALLY firm footrest, but not one that's hard plastic. I've used plastic and steel ones before, which have no give and are VERY hard on my feet, and the foam ones which are firm at first, but always seemed to soften too much. Both plastic ones and foam ones are also bad for the environment.I have a buckwheat pillow for sleeping, which is great because it's super firm, but also has give in it. I was trying to find a buckwheat footrest and by chance ended up looking at all these hyped up yoga/ pilates/ meditation labelled items.When I saw these "zafu yoga" pillows I figured the size would be just right for a footrest for under my office desk. This slightly crescent shape is perfect, and the size and height are just right for my feet. Overall dimensions are pretty inline with other dedicated "foot" supports. There's just the right amount of give so I dont get pain in my feet, but it's nice and firm to support the weight of my legs without going squidgy.For the price, this is pretty on par with a lot of foam footrests, and I think this one is far more durable. It's also breathable and washable cotton canvas fabric and buckwheat hulls are a natural material, so I think this is far better for the environment than whatever oil-industry by-products foam is made from. If the hulls ever get too crushed or musty, I can buy a sack of replacement hulls (which I can also source locally from farmers within my province) and the old ones can go into my compost heap.I don't know what zafu is, and frankly I don't care enough to google it. I don't think pillows make you meditate better (more? at all?)So I kind of wish companies like this would broaden their horizons. If you didn't target ONLY twenty-to-thirty-something upper middle class, probably stay-at-home women, you could probably sell more of your products. AND if you stopped with the ridiculous zen themes and marketing hype, people like my thirty-something techy partner would have looked at something like this as a comfortable, more durable, and environmentally-friendly footrest instead of the more expensive memory-foam, polyester microfibre-covered foam footrests he bought. Instead it won't even show in his search parametres, because he doesn't own any lululemon outfits.My griping about this ridiculous marketing now over, I actually really recommend this pillow. It works great as a floor pillow as well, if you actually wanted to use it for it's intended purpose. It's also great to kneel on.
