I’ve had this for a couple years now and have used it many times. It takes a little practice and patience, but once you get the hang of it, this tool is invaluable. I’ve made everything from shade sails to custom sized tarps to grill covers. Comes with plenty of eyelets to play around with, and when you need more, you can pick them up at nearly any hardware store or right here on Amazon

This press has removed the rough edges and mess that the old manual process caused. The dies to cut the holes is clean and works the way it should. The dies that press the eyelets together is sooo much simpler that trying to do a good job with a hammer and the tools. Smooth edges, clean look...everything that wasn't there prior to using this.I mounted it to a board for stability.I can't say it is a fault, because the press works really well, but if you need to set an eyelet in further than 2-4 inches, you'll need to get creative or use the old manual handheld tools.I do not regret purchasing this.

I have separately bought rivet dies but haven’t tried these yet. The grommet ones work well with the included dies.
