Readings appear quickly, and the display is easy to understand. Different measurement options make it versatile, allowing for various types of checks without needing multiple devices. The alarm feature is useful, providing an immediate alert when levels are higher than expected. Build quality feels solid, and buttons respond without delay. The rechargeable battery saves the hassle of constantly replacing batteries, and charging is straightforward. Holding it for extended periods isn’t uncomfortable, as it’s lightweight without feeling flimsy. The accuracy seems reliable when compared to other tools, with consistent results across multiple tests. Having a peak reading function helps track sudden changes, making it useful for different environments. For those needing a simple yet effective option, this does the job without unnecessary complexity.

This product comes with a handheld EMF meter, instructions manual, USB-C/A charging cable and a carrying pouch with zipper. This meter has a built-in rechargeable battery. Before first use it, you should fully charge it. There is a USB-C connector on the device and a supplied cable. You will need to provide your own 5V/USB charging source from a computer USB port, power bank or your phone's charger if it has a USB Type A output.I was pleased with the device build quality including the buttons which are clearly marked. There is a button to turn the device ON/OFF, one button to switch between testing EF (Electromagnetic Fields), MF (Magnetic Fields) and RF (Radio Frequency).. There is a MAX button, which cycles between showing a real time measurement to showing maximum value read and holding it instead of decrementing the value. The HOLD button is used if you want to hold the value steady. The last 2 buttons are multi-function. One button has a speaker icon and bulb. Short pressing it will cycle between alarm sounds and no sound. You will get a short BEEP to confirm sound is active and no beep to confirm sound is muted. Long pressing it will turn ON and OFF the backlight on the LCD screen. The last button is a UNIT / APO. Short pressing it will cycle between available units for the MF and RF modes. Long pressing it will cycle between APO and no APO. This means Automatic Power Off mode. If there is an "APO" indicator on the top right of the display, it means the device will power down after 15 minutes. If the APO is turned OFF, it means the device will remain ON.I was very pleased with the large backlit LCD display. It displays everything on the same screen including the signal level, peak values, current values, battery indicator, unit of measurement For electromagnetic field testing, only one unit is available, which is V/m. For magnetic field testing (MF), mG and µt are available. For RF testing, mW/m² and µW/cm² are available. In MF mode there is a 3 dimensional axis on the lower left corner of the display displayed as X, Y and Z. This device can detect Magnetic Fields from all direction, and will show you which direction it is coming from by individually displaying the X, Y, Z on the display. For the 2 other modes (EF and RF) testing is done only on the Y axis. The display features a 3 color backlight. Green means the readings is within the LOW range. orange means MEDIUM range and red means HIGH range. The thresholds are explained in the documentation and in the listing. As far as sensitivity, it looks like you have to be very close to the source to get some readings. It is impossible to know how accurate the readings are without using very expensive equipment, however, this can give you a general reference. It is a good idea to consult the manual to get a good understanding of the different sources of magnetic fields and how it works. If the device detects multiple sources of magnetic fields it will display a "MIXED" indicator. It did a good job at correctly identifying the source type as described in the manual. I tried different tests by approaching it to phones, wifi routers, microwave, electrical wires and others and the readings seemed reasonable. Is the testing range that determines exposure level compatible with those in every country, this is unknown and further research is needed to determine values for your specific country. Generally I got LOW readings around the house. It goes to MEDIUM when getting close to routers and phones and HIGH when getting close to microwave during operation, but I would have to be close to within inches. This is a good tool to find out the readings of specific magnetic field sources, and as far as safe levels and their effects, this is open for debate. Non ionizing sources are said to be safe and no cause for concern. If you want to minimize your exposure to EMF sources or simply want to get an idea on the levels, this is a good tool.I can definitely recommend this device for its versatility, ease of use, portability and large screen display.

I was offered this EMF meter, free of charge, for an honest review under the 'Vine' Program. As an Electronics Hobbyist, this device peaked my interest. I have much to learn in this area and in building & and testing equipment, I need to be aware particularly of EF and RF fields. The meter (which is rechargeable via USB type C port) comes in a nice carry case; instructions and a charging cable are also provided. In my tests around the house and my electronics work area it was interesting to note that some equipment gave particularly high readings but only when the meter was one or two inches away from the source and only when I was holding the meter (i.e If I placed, rather than holding the meter near to the source the reading fell dramatically). I also noted that the instruments which gave the highest EF readings were generally those which included a transformer (not surprisingly) though I did get a medium reading from a TV Soundbar which is powered by an external 12V switch mode DC supply. In terms of RF, the highest reading I got came from my Router. Again not of any concern as the meter had to be in very close proximity to the device. The meter itself is very well made. It has a clear display and the provided instructions, are clear. I need to learn a bit more about the subject before I can better understand the results I am getting and whether they are accurate but I am very pleased with this meter and think it is a valuable addition to my available test tools.

Another good tool from Proster, seems to be very sensitive but not too sensitive. Proster is a great brand that I trust to buy premium quality tools at a fraction of the big brand prices with most of the features still. This unit is not overly sensitive, and I tested it using the EMF setting to detect electrical interference from power lines and the like. As long as you're not overly close to an outlet or light, wire, etc, the unit will not detect much if anything, but as soon as you get closer and make sure to point the pads in the direction you're scanning and it immediately starts detecting the EMF.

This rechargeable EMF Meter is great and a handy little tool for anyone wanting to measure electromagnetic fields. This tool makes it effortless too.The tool covers electric and magnetic fields and radio frequency which is pretty comprehensive and gives you a great overview of your environment. It has tri-axial measurement capability which detects magnetic fields across several different dimensions which makes it more accurate so you get more reliable readings. It's pretty good at recognising different sources too making this an ideal thing to have in the house as you can wave it at your phone or microwave to see if they're safe etc.The device is pretty solid feeling, well made and the buttons are the right side of sensitive. The LCD screen is large, making it immensely readable and perfectly bright without dazzling your eyes, and the interface is pretty straightforward. I've never used one of these before this and I was surprised at how easy it actually was to use. The readings are clear and you also get an alarm system which is super useful as it immediately alerts you if radiation levels exceed the safe threshold. It's all good for peace of mind and when it doesn't go off it's reassuring. It's also a rechargeable device so thankfully there's no dealing with endless battery replacements and there's also a padded carry case which protects the device nicely.Really good little device, user friendly and perfect for professionals and home users alike. Recommended.
