Weighty, just like I like. Takes Jinhao cartridges so I didn’t have to buy new ink. This is now the only pen I use. It writes smooth, not scratchy or loud. Comfortable to hold for long periods. Cap screws on the end so I don't lose it. Just an overall great pen.

Me ha encantado esta estilográfica. Súper curiosa y llamativa. A pesar de lo aparatosa que puede resultar a simple vista, es totalmente funcional. Escritura suave y continua. El plumín es de tamaño medio, un flujo de tinta constante. Ideal para regalo. No dejará indiferente.

Bought as a gift. It actually writes very nicely. It is used almost everyday. The fact that it comes with a refillable ink cartridge is nice.

First time buyer of fountain pens and I must say that this has been the best experience I have ever had. The pen arrived early and I couldn't wait to get to writing with it. The weight of the pen is nothing shy of amazing. It's pretty hefty. The minute I put ink in the cartridge it flowed out of the nib so smoothly, I have had no problems with leaking or blotting especially since I don't fill it up all the way. The pen writes flawlessly. The design is amazing and everything is still entact on it (the jewels in the eyes haven't fallen out). Overall it is the one of the better buys I have ever had. It's really a bang for your buck. I even ordered two other kinds of jinhao pens that are soon to arrive and I cannot wait to try those out either. If you want a good quality fountain pen this pen delivers it. Take care of it and you will never have to write with another pen again.
