Bought this book for one tune (Suo Gan). I hadn't realised that there is a barcode on each tune which links directly to a youtube demo of the song. What a fantastic idea.I actually learned the full song in one day.I'm looking forward to learning a few of the others as well now.I highly recommend these books. I wish more were like it.

Die Klavierschule von Bobby Cyr - Piano Notion habe ich durch Zufall entdeckt! Zum Glück! Denn sie enthält viele schöne Songs, die mir sehr gut gefallen.Die Arrangements sind relativ leicht spielbar, trotzdem klingen sie alle sehr schön. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad der Stücke steigt langsam an, sodass man immer wieder etwas Neues dazu lernt. Außerdem kann man sich alle Songs auch im Internet auf der homepage von Piano Notion anhören, sodass man immer genau weiß, wie sie klingen sollen.Das Tolle an dieser Klavierschule ist, dass man das Buch auch sehr gut als Repertoire-Buch verwenden kann. Denn die Stücke klingen so schön, dass man sie gerne immer wieder spielt.

As someone trying to learn the piano on her own, this book (series) is very helpful.

Took some piano lessons so many years ago; now wanting to have fun I find I am struggling with reading notes playing with both hands etc.Paid to have online lessons; chose the wrong lessons; got books I do not need. Then browsing through music sheets I stumbled upon Bobby Cyr's piano sheets and books. Starting with book 3 I am able to read; follow play with both hands and what joy I have understanding his method and now relearning. For a senior beginner/intermediate learner I am starting to have fun.

This book gives a great explanation of using chords and arpeggios within pieces. It gets right to the point and explains each concept very clearly while allowing the pianist to play pieces they know and are familiar with. Very well-written and designed. I would highly recommend this piano book as a way to learn chords and arpeggios!
