This is a nice upgrade from my standard speedlite primarily because it has a rechargeable lithium battery. Its very well made as expected and has all the bells and whistles that my current one has but I was hooked because of the rechargeable battery. I like the rotatable head on it as well since my other one does not have that.Worked right out of the box, easy setup and fast recharge. Its actually better than my more expensive one so overall this is a great product and a great price. It includes a flash stand and a pouch to keep it protected.

What can I say, I feel that the grand I spent on my speedlite was wasted at this point. Now dont get me wrong its a great flash, but this is in my opinion better and at a fraction of the cost. The only thing missing is the direct canon features, that I dont really use anyways.Pros:-Fastest recycle of any flash ever-Settings are easy to set and see on paperwhite screen-Awesome fit and finish-Quarter of the cost of name brand-Works with my canon accessories out of the box (controller & remotes)-Its rechargeable and another battery doesnt cost a fortune like canonsCons:-Some of the more advanced features of my r5 mk2 dont work with this flash. However I dont use them anyhow, nor would most people who buy a r5 I would imagine either.All in all this thing is a beast and it just simply works and works easily. The toggle is easy, menus are simple and there are unlimited settings and saves you can make for different shoots. This has now replaced my fancy speedlite as my carry!

Me quedé enamorado de este flash. Estéticamente es hermoso, y en lo que respecta a la operatividad, es una bestialidad. Voy a comprar los accesorios para usarlo bien en mi cámara Sony A7C. 100% recomendado

I am an amateur photographer and wanted an updated flash for use with my Nikon D850 DSLR. First a word about Neewer. I have several of their products from remote flash triggers and neutral density lens filters and flash units for other cameras I own. These folks make really good stuff! I would never hesitate to buy a product from them. This flash is rechargeable, yes, rechargeable. I don't have to carry a box of AA batteries around like I do for my other flashes. I will purchase a second rechargeable battery for it as a backup, but I really like this feature. The unit supports TTL exposure (through the lens) and that is very important. It also can be set up for manual settings if so desired as well as strobe for those creative shots. Its easy to set up, comes with a foot for use off camera and can be triggered via the newer 2.4 G wireless Q trigger system. I would suggest you read the product listing for all the tech details. This unit is beautifully made, high quality, full of useful features and flexible in how it can be used. I very highly recommend it.

I got this to use with a Nikon D7000. Although not listed (the D7100 is) it worked quite well. I used it primarily to enhance the basic flash functions inherent in the camera. I like the fact that a case is included but I wish it was large enough to hold all the other accessories. It uses a rechargeable battery which is charged via a supplied usb-c cable. A charging block is NOT included. I did find the flash to be superior to the built-in flash. The flash head can be tilted to various angles.The unit has flash metering. I was not able to test all of these features but it was good to know that more advanced features exist. The flash can work in auto, manual and strobe mode. I liked the fact that the flash can work as a master/slave unit. A mini stand is included for the flash unit for that purpose. Overall, great value and provides an improvement on the overall quality of my pictures.
