This works well for the specific model of light. I was fortunate to have some on hand as backups but my main lights aren't compatible which is unfortunate. That said it is really nice to be able to control my lights (at least the ones I can) from my PC

I can't say I know a lot about the mechanisms at play here, but this works well for triggering my Neewer ecosystem devices -- That are explicitly compatible. I had hope for a more fleshed out product and better support, but there's a great deal of, for a lack of a better word, jank to overcome here.I'd avoid this, or avoid relying on it in crucial situations. It could be a convenience in some circumstances I guess.

I purchased the Neewer MS150C a month or so ago. One of the features of the light is that it can connect to Windows or MAC.After speaking to Neewer directly about this, they confirmed that I had to purchase this bluetooth adapter in order to connect remotely. Unfortunately, it does not work.I've tried this adapter on both Windows and MAC. It does not work. Regardless of whether your light is in Bluetooth mode or not, this adapter will not be detected by their Neewer Control Center app.Not recommended.

This does not bluetooth pair - plain and simple. I have a 2024 MacBook Air laptop and it could not find the bluetooth connection even though it was next to my laptop. Faulty product per my experience and as echoed by other reviews.
