As other users have said, this has had VPN software installed over the top of a normal Mikrotik device. If you are prepared to work with Mikrotik NetInstall (a free download), get the latest packages (firmware) from Mikrotik (also free), it can be restored to defaults. Mikrotik at the best of times is not for an IT novice, but if you know a little IT, it's a bargain. Getting the AP into NetInstall mode is just holding down the reset button while powering up, holding it for maybe 30 seconds, or until the device appears in the netinstall app.

Por este precio… entendiendo las limitaciones de HW que tiene, funciona perfectamente para una wifi auxiliar en casa utilizando RouterOs….. VPN y tolo lo que tiene.

Annoyingly it comes with some LibertyShield VPN preloaded, this isn't mentioned anywhere in the product descrption. To fix this you need to do a MikroTik netinstall to overwrite with standard OS - not for the faint hearted.

Mikrotik har väldigt bra produkter och det är grym hur bra den fungerar! Endå nakdelen är dock att den har för lite minne för att ladda ned det uppdateringar som Mikrotik har.
