These bowls are perfect - quality ceramics & perfect sizes. I was very pleased with my choice... But - here's another grizzle for Mikasa (and this has been mentioned by quite a few others) - the damn labels are a pain in the butt to get off!!! They took me 3 goes in the dishwasher, 30 minutes peeling & rubbing with Eucalyptus spray & another cycle in the dishwasher to get the stupid labels off before my 8 bowls were clean & ready for use. What bright spark at the company came up with the labels idea? Big assumption that the purchaser has nothing better to do than remove super glued labels off products.Aside from that, the supplier was super efficient & they arrived promptly, well packaged & safely. Thank you!

Very pretty and durable. Came well packaged and a perfect size for soup, cereals and the likeNot sure why each bowl has a very well stuck paper label strip on the rim overlapping the inside and outside. I got them to use straight away as my dishwasher door was jammed and I couldn’t get to my crockery. Sadly I had to soak all the bowls in warm water for a while to get the paper off as scrapping may have damaged them. Not a very bright idea! But other than my little loan they are very nice especially the scalloped design on the rim

I love the colour of these bowls, the bowls feel good quality and I like the simple design of them. The bowls have a bit of weight to them and I think they are a great size for cereal etc. They also washed well. My only issue with them is when they came there was a sticker on each bowl which took around 10 mins to get the stickers off them all.

Judging by the description and price, I expected these to be premium quality, stylish stoneware bowls. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case. They’re a reasonable size, although the inward curve should ideally be a little more acute, rather than the shallow taper, but that isn’t the end of the world. I’d like to be able to say they are at least very well-made and premium, again, no – that isn’t the case. The finish doesn’t really bear close scrutiny, and is nowhere near as smooth and fine as one would expect. Think cheapo, budget offerings from Argos, B&M etc.Whilst the design is subjective, it’s very basic, and to be honest, rather dated. They’re a decent weight though, and don’t feel fragile – and they can be used in the microwave and cleaned in the dishwasher.Overall, these are the sort of tableware items you’d buy very cheaply, suitable for maybe a first time student living away from home, where you wouldn’t pack them off with your best Denby! No way would I pay £36 for these. They’re functional and perfectly usable, but not something you’d use for tea with the vicar!I hope you have found this helpful.
