Die Bedämpfung lästiger Plopps gelingt mit diesem seltsamen aussehenden Mikrofonkorb aus Schaumstoff sehr gut. Durch den flexiblen Durchmesser im Bode sollte so ziemlich jedes Großmembran Kondensator Mikrofon da durchpassen.Der Mikrofonkorb ist für side-adressed Mikrofone gecht, also für Mikrofone, die von der Seite besprochen und aufrecht stehend (wie eine Kerze) montiert werden. Nicht für top-adressed Mikrofone.Allein den Preis (37 €) finde ich einen Tick zu hoch. Aber gut, wer jetzt nicht gleich fünf oder zehn Stück davon braucht, wird sich diese Einmalausgabe schon mal leisten können.Die Aufnahmen gelingen damit jedenfalls deutlich ploppfreier.

I used this with an AKG P120 and there is a noticeable audio improvement. It has been helpful in reducing unwanted noise and isolating my vocals. The adjustable foam cut-out was helpful in mounting this to my microphone with a shock mount. The only downside is that some of the mic adjustments are no longer able to be reached unless I take the foam shield off.If you are looking to get this, I would note that you will not get a massive difference in audio quality unless you know what to adjust (this also depends on how your mic picks up sound). The foam windscreen made a difference, but you should also look at your room's treatment, your gain staging, and additional adjustments like noise suppression, noise gates, compression, and EQ.To get the best results, I had to record about a fist's length from the foam.

I've been using a pop mic that clamped to my mic stand for years, this is a better solution and fits great over my Yeti Blue microphone - in fact if you center the mic's sweet spot in the unit, the gain know is still assessable if you remove the pop filter. Pop filter color choice would be nice without the screen print image / text, just color would be preferable, but that's a minor recommendation on product improvement.. A few tests are noticeable in isolating room sound. Not a magic bullet, but a simple tool that makes things more streamlined.
