To avoid confusion this is a projector clock that picks up the German DCF-77 radio signal to set the time, there is no radio.For many years we’ve had a radio controlled projection clock that displays the time on the ceiling in the bedroom and we really miss it when we go on holiday to Spain. I initially bought a projector clock only to discover that it received the UK MSF time signal which now runs on reduced power and only just about covers the UK, however the German DCF-77 signal covers most of Europe.The Mebus clock is very smart looking with large, clear backlit digits, (the backlight operates momentarily on battery and can be selectable on power). It can run on batteries and the time can be projected momentarily with a press on the snooze/light button on the top but needs the included 5 volt EU adapter for continuous projection. It had no problem picking up the time signal in the UK, in Devon, and displaying the EU time, one hour ahead, and this can be corrected with a time zone adjustment. The projected time is clear and bright and can be angled, inverted and focussed.Overall it is well made and works well.
