My title kind of says it all really (but read on 'cause I wrote this review for you...)I chose the simple black because I'm not into the fancier styles with net material & ribbons. The black headband has a simple block crosshatch design to the material that's very subtle but is a bit more interesting than flat plain fabric. The offering with the brown & black bands shows best what the material looks like.The band is very well made with a polyester top material & a shiny satiny fabric lining the inside. This makes it nice & easy to slide on, yet there was no slipping around on my head once on. I usually know within 5 minutes if I'm going to be able to stand a headband or if it's going to give me a headache because it's too tight. This one is great, a perfect fit for an average sized head with enough give to accommodate a larger noggin.The design is a braided style & the ends are covered in a ridged ribbon binding which is a bit unnecessary in my view but may help to keep it in place.For someone like me who wears headbands almost every day, this is a find. It's simple, pretty, extremely comfortable & well made. Perfect.Recommend.
