Long story short, turns out the city of Richmond, VA is incapable of producing potable water, so I purchased this with the intention of it becoming my primary drinking vessel rather than having to buy water at the grocery store or sign up for some sort of water delivery service. It has paid for itself in under a month.I love the fact that you can disassemble it into 5 pieces: the bottle itself, the LifeStraw filter, the carbon filter, the top/spout, and the lid. All of the components besides the filters are dishwasher safe, even at the "sanitize" setting. Keeps your water cold for hours - all day if you add ice.A few things that could perhaps be improved: is the screw-on top really necessary? Why not have a flip-up straw for easier access and get rid of what seems to me to be a superfluous part? Additionally, because of the filters you have to suck pretty hard (for lack of a better term 😅) to pull the water through. This creates a lot of negative pressure in the mouth, so it might not be a great fit if you've got delicate dental work or something. I imagine it would also be difficult for someone with low muscle tone to use.Overall, I've been singing the praises of this water bottle to everyone in Richmond, as well as anyone who hikes or camps.

English/Spanish review.Mal diseñado. Pierde agua por el hueco de ventilación/aire, cuando no esta vertical. Riesgo de contaminación de agua no-filtrado ademas.---Poorly designed. Unfiltered water flows out of the ventilation hole on the top, meaning you cannot transport this bottle in any other way than vertically.Not only that, but contaminated water (if filtering seriously) will potentially leak into your mouth when drinking. This bottle has been very poorly thought out.Lastly, it's very heavy (I knew) for it's volume. Double walled stainless. Would be great to have a single walled alternative ag half the weight and more volume.

This bottle was sent in only a bag from USA to the UK! It's lucky that there wasn't more damaged to the bottle. As it was a gift for someone (and it's not cheap) I want happy to accept it with the mark on it. The return process on this isn't as easy as you need to have a printer available to return. Luckily amazon has refunded me the money so I could order another in time to give it as a gift. The lifestraw bottles themselves are great and seem to work well. There Is no horrible chemical taste to the water once uts gone through the filter

I’ve had lifestraws for many years and never had an issue until I upgraded to this bottle. It leaks everywhere all the time. Even if it is upright, it still leaks!
