This learning toy is a great way for preschoolers to convey their emotions who do not have the language yet to verbalize their emotions. I'm not an expert but I'd say from about 18months to about 3 or kids who have speech delay. I wish I had these for my toddler around that age because he was delayed in his speech and I saw that he would get frustrated at not being able to tell me how he felt.Now at 4.5 and in pre-k, he's learned about emotions and has the vocabulary to express them so this toy set is more of a fidget toy for him. Nevertheless, the toy is made well and mesmerizing when shaken and then left alone for it to settle and separate. The bottles are made well and I don't suspect any leakage. They are also smooth and the hourglass shape makes it easy for small hands to grip. The quality of the toy is there but for a 4.5 year old with the language to speak about his feelings, it's unnecessary.

My daughter loves these! I wanted to get something similar to a toy at daycare that is bottles filled with beads and glitter. These do just the trick, I find myself twirling them around sometimes too

I love these guys for my kiddos. It helps them visualize the emotions and identify their feelings. I recommend these for any age group. Even as an adult they are nice to look at.
