This is surprisingly good. Allows exposures of several seconds in bright sunlight at its maximum setting which came in handy for a recent trip to the coast. There’s a slight cast, but nothing that can’t be warmed up in lightroom. Happy to recommend

Works well. I use a canon r100 with a 18 to 150 lense. Awesome pics with this adjustable filter. Highly recommend.

Solid variable ND filter, perfect for many types of photography. I use this filter specifically for intentional camera movement because it makes changing the amount of light quickly without swapping out fixed ND filters. The filter is well built and and works very well. I have used it for waterfalls too. Excellent and inexpensive filter. I recommend it to my students too.

Overall, the physical build quality feels good, smoothly screwing onto the lens, and rotating to adjust the depth of the ND filter. The filter itself is larger than the 67mm thread, so while it fits nicely on the camera, it does not work with the lens hoods I tested (i.e. you can't adjust the ND filter then put the lens-hood on. It might work with other designs, but not the ones i tested)At lower stops, it provides a relatively uniform field, however in the last 1/4 or so of the range the dreaded x-pattern appears, becoming very apparent by the time you hit the maximum stop. Unfortunately there are no detents, so the only way to tell where you are in the range is using the printed guide on the side of the filter. The image quality at lower stops I would say is good, but at the higher range the patterns and non-uniform field is too much for my use. It could be perhaps be corrected with flat-frames if you're really motivated, but I'll instead go to different ND filter for higher stops.
