This book is incredible. So informative and easy to understand as well as being witty. Bravo!The hardback is sturdy and well constructed. The paper stock is satin and good quality.I definitely recommend this book to anyone interested in the immune system or human body.

The best way to learn something new is by good examples and fun, and definitely this is what the whole concept of Kurzgesagt is. The book keeps the spirit of the youtube channel.I gained a good overview of immune system, given the fact that I am not a doctor. Satisfied my curiosity while stating that there's more if one would like to dig deeper.What makes it even better, the illustrations are great and a whole book is of a great quality. To me personally as I like pretty books, it is very satisfying.Also, our 4 months old loved it, but I can't promise he understood all :)

O livro é fundamental para quem acompanha o canal Kurzgesagt, pois traduz a mesma combinação de rigor científico, criatividade e acessibilidade que torna o canal fascinante. I've been watching Kurzgesagt for quite some time now and I've always been fascinated by their work. This book is no different. Just like their videos, this book upholds the values of Kurzgesagt. The book explains the very complex topic in a very simple and fun to read language that goes easy on the mind of any reader.It's made of high quality paper and the visuals are appealing to the eyes, just like their videos. I'm not even studying Biology, I bought this book purely out of curiosity and while I expected it to quite difficult to keep up with, it's the exact opposite. With each page I just want to read further without stopping.For anyone who wants to know about the immune system, this book is probably the best way to start as it gives you a glimpse of the vast (and apparently mind-numbing) world of immunology in a very fun manner and a very easy to understand manner ;)

Introducción a nuestro sistema inmune con un muy logrado, con imágenes vívidas. El gramaje es muy bueno y la calidad de la cubierta también.Llegó con un poco de pegamento entre algunas páginas, pero nada preocupante.

Y he aprendido muchísimo mientras me echaba unas risas: la imagen de los neutrófilos como chimpancés cocainómanos con ametralladoras la recordaré siempre. Soy lectora ávida de ciencia ficción, y en esta obra he encontrado ciencia no-ficción trepidante. Dejo por aquí una cita chula del autor: "and get a sort of clear picture of the immune system, the view is like no other. You get a taste of what it means to stay alive in a world that is a struggle between different forces that do not care about how you feel about them". Leedlo, no os perdáis las vistas.
