Having never tried pottery before I was curious about this Huanyu pottery wheel and thought it might be a good intro. It is only a small device so I imagine anyone with any experience in this area will probably want something bigger but for its size it does seem quite good.The pottery wheel has a switch for forward and reverse and a knob that you turn to adjust the speed. Having briefly tested this I would suggest that slower is better as fast just seems .... messy (well it was for me anyway - again, I am a complete novice here).There are a number of different tools supplied with this wheel as well as some small paint pots and brushes for decorating. What I was quite disappointed with though is that, as this is aimed at beginners, there was no actual pottery clay included. I was hoping there would be at least a small block but I had to buy some separately so I could properly test this. Fortunately the clay was not overly expensive, though finding the right type of pottery clay can also present an issue as there are multiple different types and apparently not all of them are suited to a wheel.The biggest problem with this wheel is the price as it is very expensive for a beginner / kids wheel and you can buy pottery wheels much cheaper than this one. If price isn't a barrier though then this is a good, small and sturdy pottery wheel.

Easy to use strong and sturdy. Comes equipped with all the tools required for a beginner. The table is quite compact compared to most others and will fit nicely on most table tops. perfect size and more important top quality looks and feels great , for the price can’t fault it, 10 out of 10 from me very happy indeed and would purchase again

Absolute novice at pottery, never tried it before but always wanted to but never knew where to go to learn, add in the humiliation of not being experienced then i saw this divine beauty of creation.Been a few weeks now and I'm still finding my feet and learning new tricks,This kit ideal for someone like me, very concise instruction manual fantastic idea to include accessories.Great weight to this so don't worry about it taking of into the air when on full power this isn't going anywhere.Despite it's weight this is very compact ad be stored away when not in use.I'm so pleased with this, price wise i would say this offers good value for money for 1 person again who is a absolute novice and would make a great gift idea for someone wanting to experiment with pottery
