I always read the worst and best reviews and it worried me that on person who claimed he was a chartered engineer was scathing in the review He claimed the instructions were bad, it was badly designed and the connectors were wrong. However, the overall majority gave 5 stars so I purchased one.I would describe my self as in the Homer Simpson category when it comes to DIY. I always do my best but often end up have to start again. With this however it was different. I did not even need the instructions as it was obvious to anyone with half a brain cell how it assembles. 5 minutes to assemble it, 10 minutes to drill the holes in the wall and then fit it all together. The only deviation I took from the kit was to use rawlbolts rather than rawlplugs. The amount of use my hose gets requires a firmer fitting to the wall.Excellent, no trouble, no leaks. I can only imagine that the chartered engineer was having a bad hair day, got the connectors the wrong way round and that people who say it leaks have probably cross threaded the connectors.Great bit of kit. Well done Hozelock.

Ich hatte vorher eine geschlossene Schlauchtrommel mit der es ständig Probleme gab um den Schlauch vollständig aufzuwickeln. Das kann mir mit dem neuen Teil nicht passieren. Dazu ist das Teil auch noch etwas kleiner und sieht auch besser aus.

Très mauvais produit , sous la pression de l’eau la bobine tuyau sort de son axe et impossible à la faire tenir après que l’on remet l’eau en circulation dedans elle se re déboîte directement.Inutilisable vraiment dessus.je l’ai utilisé seulement 1 mois.

It's worth spending a bit extra sometime for a product that will last. I purchased this more for asthetic reasons to replace an identical unit (pic attahed) that still worked fine but after 15 years or so had weathered a bit, so looked out of place with some work we had done renewing our back yard. It also comes with a hose guide which is a fantastic accessory with these hose reels.It was fairly easy to assemble, instructions are pictures only and some pieces don't look exactly like the graphics but a bit of commonsense gets you through it. A couple of small issues, there was only 3 washers instead of 4 so wasted a bit of time trying to find a spare and secondly the instructions clearly show to drill a 6mm hole, however it is supplied with 7mm wall plugs so just needed to drill the holes a bit bigger.I puchased with a 50m Hozelock hose, I think this fits perfect, it may struggle with an extra 10m to the advertised 60m capacity.After fitting with all Hozelock fittings, turned it on and once water was flowing I shut off the nozzle and there was not one leak at any connection, even after a few minutes under pressure so very happy with this. I also replaced my outside tap with a Pegler 1/4 turn tap for less than a tenner, wish I had done this years ago as makes it so much easier to turn off for the kids, and would be a benefit for people with weaker hands.Certainly a quality product in my opinion and from experience it will last.

La primera vez que lo compré estaba encantado, pero al cabo de una semana el carrete se separó de la pared al conectar el agua. Aparentemente, la pieza interna que une la manguera al grifo venía defectuosa. Me puse en contacto con el servicio técnico de Hozelock y me indicaron que, al estar aún en garantía, pidiera otro. Así lo hice, y de momento bien, aunque lleva solo dos semanas.

El carrete esta bien diseñado, es robusto para el fin que se pretende. Aconsejo que utiliceis una manguera del diámetro de 12,5 mm. pues si es mas ancha, el caudal no aumentará pues los tubos internos del mecanismo son para este diámetro por lo que es un cuello de botella. No por manguera mas ancha obtendréis mucho mas caudal.

Amazon come sempre perfetto nella spedizione, l'avvolgi tubo è risultato facile nel montaggio e nella istallazione al muro, l'unica cosa sono gli stop a muro da sostituire. CONSIGLIATO

Muy facil de montar y poner. La medida de los tacos para anclarlo a la pared esta mal. Demasiado pequeño dice 6 pero los tacos son mas tamaño 7mm. Aparte de eso muy bien. funciona de maravilla comparado con lo que teniamos. Ahora se tendra que ver que al ser de plastico resista bien el sol y temporal. De momento estamos muy contentos.
